Why don't you idiots stop posting on some dumbass lawyers page. He's the one who will find some bullshit mistake in your paperwork and make it seem like you just beat a little kid to death while you strangled a litter of puppies. This guy is one of the reasons we keep getting more regs, and our insurance rate keep going up. I hope he hits a concrete wall at 90mph. Die fucker die!
the truckers that has the most accidents is the ones that run the interstate at 50-60 mph.Having tunnel vision and then watching all traffic fly by you makes you more fatigue more than anything. You almost never see trucks with owner op specs(fast trucks)crash. Its always slow compamy trucks.
the tricky part of the sleeper berth exception is you don't get a full reset. you must calculate time from the end of the FIRST break. However, any consecutive 8-10 hours in the sleeper birth does not count against the 14 hour rule.
Complete B.S. The driver should be able to make the call. If a driver wakes up FULLY rested and still has 5 hours to go, he must sit there for that 5 hours.
