First time I saw this boss I was standing there with my jaw open, and pretty much the only thing going through my head was "oh... fuck." The leadup stages, epic music, and zero gravity made this boss the best fight in the whole game, in my opinion. Fucking craziness.

the only thing about it thats hard is the fact that you have nowhere to replenish your ammo before the fight. You just fought through like 30 minutes of monsters with no store or bench and your pretty much at the bare minimum of supplies. If you were fully loaded then this battle would be a joke

@stizz1982 when you are using your Telekenisis hold the RT (fire) or R1 button depending if you have this on the 360 or PS3. It gets a little tricky at first but after a while you will get the hang of it. You even get an achievement for using your Telekenisis. I think its called playing catch or something like that. Hope that helps.

When I faced this thing I had a pretty steady amount of ammo.I had died multiple times trying to beat it,I always got to the part where it would shoot out whatever the hell it shoots out and I'd be out of ammo with nothing to throw.I was so frustrated and then I found that you can shoot them back with the telekinesis attachment.Killed it in one hit.Fuck my shitty sense of gaming after an all nighter or two.

Fantastic boss battle. Took 3 or 4 attempts to beat this thing, but once I figured out which weapon was most useful and analyzed the bastard's attack patterns, it was pretty easy. Epic fight, definately one of the highlights of Dead Space. Looking forward to the sequel in January.

i can't quite get past the exploding balls bit, i think i came close just now but gave up after dying like 5 times. this boss reminds me of the boss at the end of chapter 4 in RE4. i didn't realize you could just shoot the balls straight back, i thought you had to catch them first...i guess i'll give it another go.
