brother please let me kno what u did to get to that point. did you hoast out the engine? or have thecar on a hoast?can i replace the gasket covers with out taking out the engine???? please let me kno
@impactxl Most rear wheel and 4x4 cars and trucks require you to take the engine out. What vehicle are you working on. Sometimes you can lift the engine high enough to get the pan off. I don't recommend this cause it's too hard to get a good seal on the pan with the engine still in the vehicle.

uh oh , i put silicone around the whole sealing base of the oil pan , hmm prolly doesnt matter

@ericg83z The ribs in the seal are allow some space for the rubber the squish when you tighten the pan...should still be O.K.
