  • music ???

  • loved him in Portland

  • Same video as Veoshock's. So who ripped who?

  • @69ingher

trust me, the mine is the first... i remember that somebody copied my video

  • he WAS NOT one of the most exciting players, lol, but yeah he could shoot that medium and long range shot....i was a big fan of him.

  • If Smitty's wheels hadn't gave out on him, he would have certainly went down as one of the All-time greats. He was a true triple threat: he could flat-out pass, shoot, and dribble the rock. 6-8 215 pg/sg.... All-time Michigan players: #1 Magic, #2 Derrick Coleman, #3 Steve Smith, #4 Chris Webber, #5 Jalen Rose.

  • mmm didn't look like a super star or anything

  • @mrdunkerishere He was a quiet killer, son....trust! 1st round draft pick, solid NBA Career , College Superstar, High School Star...and Olympian

  • jordan always had trouble guarding players that were bigger than him...they should have put scotie on smith, he'd d his ass up, lol

  • The Smitty Shake!

  • Steve Smith was right up there with the best trash talkers. LoL. He was good at it. And mostly backed it up. He'll sure let u know! I like the time he dunked it caught the ball, went up and dunked it again and glared. He was that pissed off.LoL. He's a good analyst now.

  • @morpheus232001 OMG i used to have classic tapes of Steve and Sean Higgins going at it!!! They used to talk so much shit it was ridiculous

  • @elemynt LoL. They'd get lots of Techs in today's game

  • Steve Smith!todo meu respeito e admiracao por ser este grande homen e atleta

e quem te conhece sabe maior que tudo e seu coracao!

  • Yeah wanted to see that Move that he use to do every-now-and-then. It was sweet and deceptive.

  • Also Steve Smith had one of the top 3-4 postgames for a guard in recent NBA History

  • Smitty!!

Such a disrespect that this guy only made 1(!!) All-Star team

  • erybody used fall for dat dam fake spin then spin back move specially rookies

  • I never really heard of this guy; I know he's a good leader, but how exactly good is he has a player?

  • I also am looking for a clip of the hesitation baseline freeze dribble that ONLY Steve could do, well I did steal it and shook someone so bad with it once that as I pulled up for a midrange jumper I was laughing at the guy guarding me...I want to find video of it to use to teach my son as he works the baseline very well

  • I can't find a vid of Smith's "Delay" move.

Shucks... I wanted to see it again...

  • what is delay move?!

  • yeah...i also want to see his classic "hesitation move"

  • @AndrewHawk15

    It's a kind of a half/fake spin.

  • @StoneThrowingDevil I think he's talking about the half spin.

  • @StoneThrowingDevil @decriz 'Steve Smith Dunks on Sixers with the "Smitty" Look-Away Fake' search that video

  • @StoneThrowingDevil Yea if you could find that , hahaha it was called "The Steve!" in the D....i did that shit all thru high school everyone in Detroit did it ....

  • this guy was sick deadly from the perimeter like much of his contemporaries from the 90's Grant Hill, Glen Rice, Reggie MIller, Allan Houston

  • Comment removed

  • no, he put the ball on the floor before he shot it.

  • yeah i know...i don't know wtf i was thinking

  • steve smith (heat and msu ) was a killer

  • DETROIT

  • Man, can somebody please post a vid of him in college and his early years in the league!! If yall young cats really wanna see a real "balla" check him out. Went to Michigan State University.

  • Steve Smith was one of my favorite players. His size was a plus at the one position. Trey bomb in ya face. Big ups to Steve #8.

  • i agree, he started at the 1 than moved to the 2 later on his career, but man his height and size at the 1 definetly made him deadly

  • steve smith was so cold. i loved when he'd bang a trey in someones grill then mean mug em down

  • thank you for giving this man some youtube credit. I idolized him when he was with the Heat when he played with Glen Rice, Grant Long and Rony Seikaly.. dem was days. O i'll never ever forget that little hesitation move he used to do and fake the sh*t out of everyone. Please someone post some stuff of him when he was with the Heat

  • song name??

  • the vines- ms jackson

  • to correct myself, this version is by outkast*

  • What's the song's name? please

  • Sorry Ms. Jackson

  • I grow up in Detroit too and playing street ball with Steven Smith, Carlos Rodgers, and Big Dough Smith I had the beast time of my life just playing ball and being a teen in the late 80s and 90s was so much fun in the D ! oh ! yes I was and very good PG !

  • These is highlight in his twilight years and his knees went bad. Wheres the shit when he was younger? when he was killing.

  • Remember in the 1990 NCAA tournament, Steve's Michigan State team lost the Elite 8 game to Kenny Anderson and Lethal Weapon 3 of Georgia Tech! But man was he good!!!!!!!!

  • My favorite player...thank you so much, nobody knows just how good this guy was...if only he had more longetivity could have been a hall of famer :(.

  • What's the song's name?

  • I remember in the garden "6'8, from michigan state, #8, steeeeeeeeeeeeeve smith!"

  • Smitty from the City!!!!!!!

  • i shoot like carmelo, he have a lot of similitudin with melo

  • This is my dude man! growing up in the D steve is someone that u mos def have to look up to if u are a baller. but he is a good dude as well he serves the community well.

  • he won a ring with the spurs in 2003

  • i remember when i first saw Steve Smith it was in 1990' when he was at michigan state i thought he was the kools player ever...i only wish he would have won a ring....

  • I love this cuz I love Steve Smith. I have ever since 1896 when he use to tell me it was okay for bumping into him in the gym at Pershing High. I am proud to be a Pershing Doughboy we have so much pride no one will ever understand the love and support we give eachother when we find out we are from the blue and gold on 7mile and Ryan in Detroit. Thanks for putting this video together it is on my favorites.

  • steve smith was my favorite player too for the longest time. even the blazer days with him were really great. sucks that they didnt make it to a ring

  • what a shot!!!!!!

  • If only the Heat played him more, they could've used him a lot. They did the same thing with Derek Anderson.

  • He looks a little bit like Grant Hill, you sure they not related?

  • I always thought the same thing

  • steve smith is my favorite basketball player of all time!

  • thank-you so much for the tribute to MY COUSON STEVE SMITH: ONE OF THE GREATEST 3 POINT SHOOTERS EVER TO PICK UP DA ROCK

  • I miss these days. hard being a hawks fan now.

  • cool video, i loved watching smitty play for us in the mid 90's. he could shoot 3's at will and had an awesome baseline move that no one could stop

  • This is great. Steve Smith was my favorite player growing up. A really under rated player. Thanks for the old memories. The Steve Smith stutter step was classic.
