  • I promise I will still love you tomorrow!!

  • Comment removed

  • 52 people wont love her tomorrow

  • I think few can remember them. If you are over 65, you should be able too like I am.

  • @pikkiecrous my nan raised me with this music and absolutely LOVE it, well before the likes of Dirty Dancing showcased it for their soundtrack :-)

  • I would like to thank the lady that responded about what i said!!! Thank You, no their are some that don't agree with me as i found out, that's why i respond back to him. But we'll just keep listening to the old songs and all the good times that we hold dear. Take Care and Thanks Again!!!!

  • an to finish what about GOD ??? And the space program? Look what it's done to the earth that God gave us, the weather, even has messed up the seasons, which in turn mess with people that grow our food, the mess they add to our meats!! Very few people care about people, any more IT'S ALL about MONEY!!!! What about the Fireman that let those people's house burn? Over $75.00 Where in the sam hell have you been, and how old are you? are you even old enough to know what CLEAN FUN was? I could go on!!

  • In answer to the nut that had something to say about "clean fun" I,m really sorry that you must have such a terrible Teen Years, BUT what i was talking about: you could walk around your block at night, without being SCARED, you could understand what people were singing, and without being half naked, or grabbing their private parts, you did'nt have to worry about getting shot or stab in the 3rd grade, family dinners, we were taught to respect our elders, yes mam, no sir, not yea or what!!!!

  • @tennprissycilla My grandfather raised me to respect my elders, I wish that everyone has the same morals

  • Brought back some very good memories.

  • Big wednesday!!

  • i heard carrie underwood sing this for her all-star holiday special last year:) brought me back to the oldies side of youtube:)

  • The Amy Winehouse version is much much better....Amy has such a beautiful voice....

  • @jeanbilliejean i disagree, her version is nice, but this is a classic

  • The great vocals, great songs,girl-groups of the 1960's!!! When are we going to have a

rebirth of these great girl-groups with great songs at this point in time?

  • that first picture is the shit.

  • Amy Winehouse really transformed this song..she was such a genius...

  • Great,great......song...♫♪♫

  • just such a wonderful song.

  • this brings me back to good times

  • amy who?

  • I was from an earlier era, but I have to admit that for a short period late 50s early 60s, some of the greatest music was produced, ie The Shirelles, The Drifters. This was just before the studio men became more important than the singers themselves. Studios and Groups merged into one.

  • Lovely song. I wonder if any are still alive?

  • This song isn't just about virginity...it's about everyday in a loving relationship. And it's a good healer after a relationship is over. And it's a great showcase alongside many other tunes of the era, of strong black women in the music industry - heart, soul and beauty

  • this song is best

  • im 3 and i love this music..i remember when it 1st came out back in the 50s..

  • When songs had real melody.

  • oh this brings back good times

  • 52 people are one night standers.

  • Greatest poetry and wisdom I know of in any song...I am 64 and remember hearing this about 50 years ago..give or take,..it still 'sends' me....so tell me now and I wont ask again...wow.

  • I'm 61 an let me tell ya'll, you really missed so good clean times, i still listen to all these ole songs an remember JUST how very good i had it!!!

  • @tennprissycilla

good clean times? You mean with all the drugs and protests and nuclear scares and propaganda and civil unrest ect, ect, ect???

Damn baby boomers have the rosiest pair of sunglasses out of everybody.

  • @bulbinking We've always had problems in the world but I think they were referring to the youth and just respect they had for themselves and others. Such as the way you're speaking to them right now. They're probably several decades your senior and you're talking to them like trash on the street. Extremely disrespectful. & overall sex wasn't the backdrop for every form of entertainment.

  • "Sex wasn't the backdrop for ever form of entertainment" Implying it is now? BTW teen pregnancy per capita was almost twice as high back then as it is now... Not to mention 90% of do-wop was singing about sex in metaphor! It was also the famous time of kissing in cars at the drive-in and other random "make-out points" So don't be acting all self-righteous. You were all just as perverted, were just more honest/open about it, which is much healthier. Why should I respect people-

  • -who don't respect the new generation? The boomers are all a bunch of conservative-anal retentive xenophobes OR hippy-crits! Its the boomer CEO's who ruined todays economy. Its the boomers making outdated political policy... Your generation cant do anything correct, yet you all take the moral high ground and claim your way of life was better just because you are all so brainwashed into realizing you were no better then anybody else. You all make me sick. Age = Competence.

  • Meant to type "you were all so brainwashed into not realizing"

  • @bulbinking I'm 20 genius so I'm not sure what generation you're referencing to or what you're even talking about for that matter. You're the type that's just looking for an argument which is why you didn't use your brain to formulate your response or even look at my username to see my age. Perfect example of the way the majority of the youth is these days:STUPID. lol. Please go somewhere and hide with that. The rest of us would like to enjoy this classic.

  • @sizzlemytwizzle91

Ad hominem much? I wasn't saying you were specifically that age "genius", I was categorizing your statement where you defended that era and its "morals" in a personal way. So I argued against your view point in a personal way. An argument which you have yet to refute a single point on.

  • @bulbinking shhhhh, listen to the song

  • also meant to type age =/= competence, but didn't realize my word limit ran out.

  • @tennprissycilla Good and clean? Isn't this a song about having sex with some guy and wondering if it will be just a one night stand or if he'll "still love [her] tomorrow".

  • GO CHARGERS!!!

  • i wuld of lved to live in those days

  • i'm 35. Love this music. If only i could have experienced those years.

  • Great song!

  • oh this song was about sex... okay.

  • IM 35 ..LOST MY VIRGINITY AT 16 WITH MY X HUBBY OF 13 YRS ...UUUGGHHH!!!!! WHAT THE HELL DID I DO WRONG!!!!.NOW I ASK MYSELF ..WILL SOMEONE LOVE ME TOMORROW!!..

  • brownpride wow lol

  • It was 1961, I believe and my secrete gay crush on Mike S was in full swing in the 8th grade. I know he would not like to know another guy loved him so much and he will never find out now because I found out Mike had died already just this fall 2011. Never really got to know him, although he lived right around the corner and we were the same age.

    RIP MICHAEL S.

  • My mom really didn't know how to talk to me about sex so when I had my first boyfriend she sat me down and made me listen to this song and read the lyrics....at first I was like, "what the Hell??" Then when he had me is car and he was kissing me....I got it. I told him to take me home....Thank God!!

  • @Chibby109 Well, if you're 14, then that's a good thing.

If your 18 or older, you're missing out on lots of fun.

We're only young once. Get all you can. We're a long time dead.

It's just sex for cripes sake. Not rocket science.

Anyway- this was/is a great song- lyrics, music and arrangement- by one of the all time great girl groups of the '60's. When I was a teen, a million years ago.

  • Fantastic memories I can never forget.

  • These are timeless song's.

  • @badbobby656 totally agree with you! Peace.

  • I sang this song at my junior high schools talent show when I was in the ninth grade around 48 years or so ago. I'm always happy to hear the younger generation appreciate it as much as I did when I was young and still do now.

  • Love this music. It brings back alot of memories from my much younger years.

  • SO MUCH MEMORIAZ LISTENIN 2 THIS SONG :( BUT I MF' LOVE IT I CULD JAM 2 IT ALL NIGHT N DAY

  • Brings back so many memories of car shows with my Dad when I was little

  • Such a beautiful voice, so much expression and tone. I could listen to this song on loop!

  • This song makes me think of the Blue Oyster pub in the movie "Police Academy". :)

  • Each song told a story and each had meaning, some were silly, others were funny, many were sad, however they all carried a message from which we laughed, sang along with, and shed a few tears that we could not hold back. "Snowman II"

  • For many of us these songs represent our youth. They are Timeless, Priceless, & they will never be anything but meaningful reminders of the fantastic times we had as we grew up. To this day, we listen to them. They were a part of our lives then, and they will always remain as such. "Snowman II"

  • @wickedsaiz Locked up? I believe it :p

  • Great song!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome!

  • I could listen to this stuff all night.....what is this crap they play today?

  • @bluedog03301998 ; if you're willing to look you'll find there are a lot of adequate artists out today, just not everything decent is anywhere near the charts.

  • @bluedog03301998 its called mainstream homes

  • @bluedog03301998 Overproduced, dispassionate CRAP.

  • @bluedog03301998 well, i have to agree that mainstream is terrible. but i do enjoy electronic music (basically the modern age classical music)

  • @bluedog03301998 serio the music from back then cannot be compared to the bullshit that is playing today

  • @bluedog03301998 ditto, this was music and slow dancing, and we UNDERSTAND THE WORDS!!!

  • I lived back there when.........

  • ha,ha,ha,,i got drunk to this in 64 with the bad assed babe from chuck-a-burger

  • gotta lov the oldies....soooo real :)

  • Such a sweet song. Gosh...What happened to those great times? So much for modern being greater. I would give anything to live in the past - I truly would.

  • @missmuggledetector Me too.. but wait.. in those days if you had a kidneystone, they opened yu up and removed itl. Not so good. People haven't really changed, but the value/moral level has. For worse

  • @skaha77 The morla level has changed because people seem to think accepting everything is good, and saying no to some things is bad or makes you a "hater" when in actuality - you can't and should not accept everything. Little things like this is what lowers peoples morals, and really makes things far worse instead of making things better like they hoped.

  • @missmuggledetector Yeah. and it was a planned attack. A gradual eroding away of the values that made us a great nation. No nation that turns it's back on God will survive... and I think American/Canada has pretty much done just that, with a lot of help from the Feminazis, the ACLU, the Commies who infiltrated our universities, our music, our movie business, etc. MY GENERATION WORSHIPPED ELIVIS PRESLEY. You can blame the boomers. If we'd had just HALF the zeal for God .. where would we be now?

  • @skaha77 Your comment is interesting even though I don't know what ACLU is lol...But y'know...I think the 60's really took away most of the morals, or at least the basis for it. It became cool to be doing bad things, and to escape from the compressed and morally right soceity. It was like this fun new fad that's contaminated the rest of the decades after that. And of course, with all of today's modern technology...It just helps it more and more. And if you speak against it, you are a hater.

  • @missmuggledetector American Civil Liberties Union. Nice title, but run by commies. They recently went after a Florida township and tried to force them to remove the copy of the Ten commandments from their front lawn. they couldn't find anyone in the town who was offended it, though.. SO they went and found one, from a neighbouring state,,, and succeeded. I hate them

  • @skaha77 Wow, that really bites! But does that really make them Communist? Still, they shouldn't have done that.

  • @missmuggledetector Yes. their founder (and I cannot remember the name) was a commie. Beware of them who claim to be the 'Champion of the downtrodden' I have seen this in union activity, and THEY are as left wing as U can get. What they really want is power and to undermine capitalism. Sounds weird, but after 65 years, I am allowed to get that way

  • @skaha77 Oh I see...Well, wither way Communism is completely wrong. Sure, all forms of government have some fault, and no place is a utopia. I wasn't born during the Communist period, so it's harder for me to fathom.

  • @missmuggledetector To a lot of people your age, us old guys sound a bit nuts/paranoid. US came very close to a nuclear exchange with USSR in 1962. Cuban Missile crisis was a very real threat. They were loading Cuba up with nukes. Now islam is the threat to our freedom, but it too, will fail

  • Oh no, I love all this stuff. My mom talks about it all the time, though she's from a different country. I don't think Islam is bad - the extremists are the evil ones. Just like how people who are Christian are totally fine - but when they take it too far, they're horrible as well. It's not the religion, it's how you take a hold of it. I'm personally Catholic, but if you become an extremist in that well, you're not getting my support!

  • @skaha77 If Unions are anti-capitalist and commies, how is it you never saw trade unions in communist countries?Perhaps after 65 years, what you are is not weird, but senile.
