  • @astewart526 surely you dont get the same ring to it

  • This is awesome but I wish I had the tabs!

  • i love this guy but it makes me laugh every time how you plays and then looks up saying hey guys as he laughs pretending like he didn't know that camera was already recording hahaha

  • Brilliant guitar lesson(s), Marty! Keep It up :)

  • I have that capo XD Another great video lesson Marty :)

  • Thumbs up for While my guitar gently weeps!!

  • @ScPrideBaby If you know your chords than it's A minor, Add a pinkie on the third fret, then put it back and put you're middle finger on the 2nd fret, then F. then again A minor, but then G, then D, E. Then repeat the adding fingers to the A minor part, afterwards do the A Minor , G, and instead of D play C, Then E, and that's the chorus. The "I don't know whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nobody told you" part you may have to look up because I can't remember the names of the chords

  • @ScPrideBaby If you don't know your chords then yes marty thumbs up for While My Guitar Gently Weeps!!!!!, I wan't to see how you play it, to fix any of my mistakes.

  • woo hoo! I learned it!!!!!

  • 00:45 to 21 people. ; )

  • great instruction as all your lessons

  • can some one write out what he plays for the first part on D im not sure were hes hitting the open D

  • im not totally sure if marty did it on purpose, but i noticed he has his capo slightly slanted is that how your supposed to put your capo cause im not sure myself. could anyone tell me if this is true or not BTY great lesson marty

  • @MrLawrencecorn I don't think it particularly matters, although when you put it on it might be a good idea to check each string to make sure that the new pitches are in tune with each other.

If you think about it, when you do an open A chord (X02220) using three fingers, these fingers would not form a line parallel to the frets as there is simply not the space for this. A slightly slanted capo is not wildly different to that.

  • @Texy88 thanks

  • if you learn someone like you all the songs get easy ((::

  • Song is really complicated D:

  • Your awesome! I love that song and you playing it makes it better! I am amazed

  • Every time i think to myself "Hey, i want to learn (insert song)". This guy pretty much has it. For that. I thank you xD.

  • Thanks Marty... Great lesson

  • Great stuff Marty. Love your style. I like to learn diff versions of cool tunes.

  • thanks a lot for this marty! i've been trying to learn this song for a long time and i love the fact that you've split this lesson into two videos so you can go over it in detail. if there's one thing i don't like about your other videos it's that you don't always go over every part of the song. this one, however, is your best, in my opinion.

  • Amaaaazing :D' Thank you so muuuch for posting.. It was explained very well and besides, you are a great teacher.. I love your videos, keep posting :)

  • marty how do u strum/pick? >.<

  • do u need a capo?

  • @codfan66634 if u want it to sound like the original the capo has to be on the 7th fret but you can play it without it as well it wont sound as the original but still good :)

  • mary respect from the uk :)

  • The secret to success is not just practicing, it is the way in which you practice. If you're not getting good results, you need pro help to start you off, the rest is endurance!

  • You're a good player & I enjoy your playing, but where is the rest of this song? Don't worry, I learned that song many years ago. Playing on the 7th fret is taxing on the fingers for beginners though.

  • sign my request list for cool schtufff hahaha he spelled that wrong

  • another brick in the wall pink floyd!! i want to learn that to get me the ladi

    es

  • @broomer55 he did that already

  • @broomer55 f off

  • @Sareth14 You can learn this song without the capo. You'll just be playing in a different key but the fingering will be the same. You'll be playing open chords in the Key of D [at the second fret] But the capo just changes the key to A. The song sounds good in just about any key. For every fret you put the capo on it will raise it 1/2 of a step.If you put the capo on the first fret it will be in the key of D# on fret 2 it will be in the key of E. and so forth

  • @Sareth14 take two ruberbands and a pencil and make one

  • marty you're simply the best guitar teacher on youtube! nuff said.

  • capo........we meet again -_-"

  • Whats that thing on the neck called again?

  • @nerad1994 Capo?

  • If I come to one of Marty's tutorials and can't do it, I know I need to get better before I learn the song. I've been playing for 4 months...let's see if I could learn this one :)

  • @moshei24 yeah lol i have been playing on and off scince feb...another good beatles one that he teaches is norweigen wood...which i find easier tbh lol...but this needs more practice but is doable =P

  • To people not having a capo - buy one, it's part of being a guitar player duh...

  • @FailisWin

or make one with an elastic and a pen duh...
