i love occasional fragile bits of grandaddy. the words to this are great and the metre of them - the way he sings 'most ty-pi-cly my dreams are dread-fully boring' is fantastic. ten plus years on i still stick this on little car compies for myself...the smallest, greatest grandaddy/lytle track.
Their music is art, most music nowadays is drivel, no emotion. I'm glad they're not well heard of because then their art would be trivialised and lost. Probably my favourite band.
Ha! Thanks for putting that word 'gayfer' into context for me, onegnometorule, it didn't even register with me when the comment was posted! That sort of comment often comes from some sort of insecurity, so I share your pity. It's probably wasted, though.
This track has everything I love about Jason's songrwiting. I'm not sure how he creates this stuff. But it's soooo great. I don't care about final production, I just love how the music hits me.
why is this the best song to ever exist

Mjd612, I pity you. Reaction at total odds with everything Jason Lytle stands for.
