thanks for your great effort .. but Can anyone tell me the difference between parent’s and parents’ ? and Is what Emma (favorite teacher) did according to ( ’ ) is right 02:28 min <stupid Q ? Hm and Thanks in advance ..
It's hard to deal with adults who use alot of bad grammer. They get so offended when you try to correct them. I know some that use it so often, that it would probably ruin our relationship if i pointed out all of them. So I just let it slide most of the time. I wish they had someone correcting them back when they formed the bad grammer habits. .
@osx101 You will use 'by', as 'until which time' doesn't sound right. Also, by which time = by that time = at that time. If you want to use 'until', we will have to make some changes to your phrase, such as: "She will be here at five, and until she arrives, I expect you to have finished your work."
Excellent explanation Emma, You teach English very well. Your examples to explain the difference were very simple and easy to understand. Keep working on your videos. You are helping a lot of people around the world. By the way, we can also use the by phrase in the future perfect tense for example: I will have finished my new house by December 2012. As you told Emma by gives the meaning of before or exactly at the specific time.
Emma this lesson was very useful. I like the way you teach. Her diction isn't slow, but clear. By the way, is correct to use the word "your" to previous phrase instead the word "her"?

If you're speaking about grammar... there is no "till". "Until" = proper grammar. "Till" = Slang. There is no breathing room here.
