wished I was able to go on their free all-black dress code live last christmas. T-T Hope that they make a new album soon but with sugizo going everywhere, I find it hard to believe they have any time together at all. XD

@AllThatMakesUsHuman4 Ahh, I love Miku's voice. It depends what you listen to, some of their earlier stuff is bad, but Ryuusei Rocket is really good, so is all of Magnya Carts.

Klaha, the final vocalist from Malice Mizer ruined them for me, absolutely hated him.

@theindiefanclub I love Klaha-era Malice Mizer. they have that funeral goth, vampire, satanic or whatever that's total opposite of Gackt's pop thing. their silent movie is also amazing. love the scene with Mana and a naked girl tied to a crucifix

@dgnx69 I don't really like Klaha. He always just seemed like a bit of a tool, and I much prefer pop to goth. I don't like vampires either, so definitely not my thing. I like bands like Perfume and school food punishment as well, so I guess it would make sense that I'd like the more upbeat poppy stuff.

@theindiefanclub yeah, everybody's got their own preference. I listen to some pop like Alice Nine and even capsule and Suzuki Ami but I prefer heavier or darker music like Versailles, Dir en grey, Girugamesh and old school X Japan

@dgnx69 I've got capsule on my LastFM library, but it keeps coming up as a death metal band from florida xD I saw Versailles live; wasn't impressed. Their soundman needs a kick in the rear.

I love that most 90s Visual Kei is all derived from "Phantom of Guilt" by X Japan.

@theindiefanclub maybe Versailles got a bad night when you saw them. it happens to everyone, even bands like Metallica and Guns N' Roses. especially Guns N' Roses, if you can count how many times Axl walked off his own concerts due to sound problems

@AllThatMakesUsHuman4 Malice Mizer are good! Or, they were when they had Gackt. Au Revoir and Claire especially are beautiful songs.

But LUNA SEA is amazing. Almost as good as X JAPAN and hide! (Remember, without hide and Yoshiki, there would be no LUNA SEA!)

Visual Kei bands that are bad are bands like SuG or Sadie, bands like that. And Devil Kitty. They're gross.
