There's something about this songs note progression that makes it hard for me. I've beaten it on Expert a few times now. But I stomped every other song in the game first, plus most of the harder ones (All of Yngwie, etc.) Dunno, this is probably my favorite song in the game though. lol no he wouldn't... if he did what you said, he'd be using overdrive to play a bunch of single notes with lots of sustains. by using overdrive when he did (right away) he was able to hit all those chords, which are worth three times as much as a note. it's worth activating right away, even with the leftover overdrive.

because the beat is somewhat syncopated, meaning the emphasis is on the off beat, so u want to strum up-down-up-down, but it feels awkward to strum the green, a lesser emphasized note, down, then the yellow, the typically emphasized note, up, because you add a finger but pull up on the strum bar, so the feeling of opposites between your hands makes it difficult.
