Pure slaughter!...Who cares about damn hogs!...They keep tearing up my garden in the middle of the night and I'm about to camp out in my back yard with a 30-06!..Too bad I can't shoot within city limits I need to call a local trapper and he charges 250$ per hog which is bullshit.
Hogs multi fast... 2 pigs can produce nearly a hundred a year. They become over populated and destroy crops, if you don't exterminate them then they will just keep multiplying and spreading causing trouble for more people
i hear those night vision goggles are a few thousand dollars tho bit out of most hunters price range....gusse you could use a video camera on night mode lmao
You've got a point there. I guess it is because here we see hogs as pretty rare animals.
Still, there have to be more peacefull wys of dealing with pests like this one. Pests normally don't rise unless there is a problem with the balance in that particular eco-system
What a bunch of losers. Too pussy to join the actual military, or too fat and lazy, so they shoot pigs instead. No surprise that this shit happens in Texas.
I like hunting animals such as hogs and other vermin because I'm too much of a pussy to go to Iraq... Nothing makes me feel more like a man than using military grade assault gear to establish my dominion over lowly beasts...
@TacticalHogControl I know, I know, we need to control the animals! How about you poison them all? What about leghold traps? Just seems real convenient that semi auto rifles, silencers, and night vision are needed to "control" an animal thats about as smart as a dog. P.S., can you please explain what tactical means and how it relates to pig shooting?
Hogs are mainly a nocturnal animal. They are also very smart and change their patterns when pressured. As soon as you start killing them in the day time they go nocturnal. " Semi auto's, I2, thermal, cans" are very effective in controlling hog populations. Choppers are more effective, but are very expensive. Hogs cause farmers and ranchers millions of damage every year, and also carry many diseases.
@skunkapotamus Please stop watching hunting vids and making retarted comments, NOW SCRAM before I send Sarah Palin & Ted Nugent after yer worthless ass, go jack-off to PREZDINT OBONGO speech vids instead.
@skunkapotamus I wish you would have put down the crack pipe and gone back to school to learn proper grammar before posting your ignorant, incohesive rants here. you=epic fail
Everyone on the hunt wears night vision goggles while they are in the vehicles and during the walking stalks. The goggles are attached to the helmets by a mounting device that allows them to be raised, so that they are out of the way....similar to a hinge. When it's time to shoot, the goggles are "flipped up" and the hunter looks through the night vision or thermal weapon sight while shooting.
Rather unsportsmanlike... lol it almost seems like satire.
Is it?
I drop trout in a barrel and shoot them.... its so awesome, i can shoot as many as i want, and its really easy with my acog scope, not that i need one... LOL
@The4LA2Baker0 It's not satire...more like extermination. If you had a roach infestation at your home, would you worry about whether the exterminator used "sportsmanlike" tactics?..or would you rather him use a "one-shot, one-kill" approach? As far as your "trout-in-a-barrel " analogy goes, ours is a pretty large barrel...the size of Texas! These non-indigenous pests are causing more than a million dollars of damage a week to this state, not to mention the dozens of other states as well.
@TacticalHogControl Im sure they need to population control. I wasn't saying its wrong, just that it seems a bit easy. Happy hunting, hope you guys get those pesky bastards under control.
Out of curiosity, do you know how they got overpopulated to that extreme?
@The4LA2Baker0 I wouldn't call it easy....maybe easier, but it's still a challenge to find them.
The population explosion is pretty simple....they breed like rats. Each sow will have about 3 litters per year and average 8-10 pigs per litter. About half of each litter is female and those young sows will begin breeding at about 10 months of age. It doesn't take long.
A wise man once said "A sow has an average of 8 pigs per litter....and 12 of them survive!"
@simondignam7 These guys are referring to the (wounded warriors) men and women who fight for our country's freedom and were injured in combat. Also, people who work during the week and hunt on weekends are referred to as weekend warriors.
This video is one of the best that I have ever seen, you boys need your own hunting show. I checked out your website, it is first class as well, your hunts have got to be the best BANG for the buck out there. I will be sharing your info with everyone I know. Keep on wacking and stacking the pork, sounds like ya'll are the farmers and ranchers only prayer.

skunkapotamus 1 year ago
@skunkapotamus First, I'm not a fan of poison. 1) It's usually a slow, painful death 2) What about the other critters that eat the poisoned carcass?
Second, ..."leghold traps"....What are you going to do with the hogs after you catch them? Release them? How about in your yard?
Third....Dogs are smart.
Finally...Definition for tactical- as a means to an end: done or made for the purpose of trying to achieve an immediate or short-term goal
If goal = (less pigs) then one method = tactical!

@skunkapotamus Stupid poison doesn't discriminate and it's a slow death, same with leg hold traps.
