That was my knee-jerk reaction, too: SOS. But listen a little closer and you hear sets of dits and dahs in 5's, always dits then dahs or dahs then dits (no dit-dah-dit stuff). That's numbers; Morse Code letters are 4 units or fewer, and the note doesn't give punctuation or anything.

I couldn't make out which numbers over his talking, but it was pretty easy to pair that up with the gate. Though why someone would set up automatically repeating morse code gate numbers is beyond me.
