everything changes, either badly(degrade) or positively (evolve), if something is not put in challenge it degrades becuase there is nothing to evolve to, 'trolls' can be applied to anything not only the internet has 'trolls', furries are a fandom, trolling is a slang, even furies can 'troll'

Well you're perfectly right that troll is just slang for bashing someone over the internet which means that anyone can troll, so yes if furries can be trolls then that does make us similar in that way at least. As for the internet evolving thing i would say that evolve is too strong a word, change yes, but not evolve. evolve summens up the idea that the internet will leave certain traits behind but it does not and will not.

i think you are confusing 'evolution' with 'revolution', evolution is when things are added, new features are implemented, developed, revolution is when the new features replace the old features, so technically speaking, yes the internet does evolve, sinse there is always something new posted or implemented
