So stop replying with all of the other bands that could fit this criteria, that's not what I meant. The point is Coldplay has some truly lovely music that really touches you in their songs, but there is a different feeling you get from each one, which is something special many bands don't have. That is all. Enjoy the song.

@nrabai, being a loyal fan is a completely meaningless concept when it comes to a band's output. Having the courage to say you loved the old stuff but not so sure about the new stuff just means you are honest and have an open mind.

This is not a football team, this is an artistic project. As such all output should be considered objectively, otherwise frankly i think it makes people as bad as those who propel Bieber to the top of the charts every week

Lately I've heard negative things about Coldplay's "new sound". True fans love them no matter what. So, if you're a true fan, please shut your mouth and enjoy the music. Even if that means you just listen to this era of their music. But, I'll be listening to all of it from Reign of Love to Paradise. I'm just here for the music.
