THAT WAS THE AMIGA??? WOW i originally had one with stardust one, it died =( so i switched to a PC. it was a bad choice, But after seeing it appears that the amiga is still the better computer.
I remember buying an amiga magazine with a tunnel demo of super stadust, thought is was the best thing ive ever seen, those were the days. i did miss the 3d ship flyby on the original stardust intro. i used to get the big tv brightness just right, plug the amiga in the stereo, turn up the bass and the volume and stick in stardust disk 1 and enjoy!! better than starwars lol. . :-)
I bought the magazine as well with the demo of this on it, and it was by far the best thing i had seen in those days! Doesnt matter whether you have a high end pc, PS3 or whatever, the Commodore days were the best.
Super Stardust for the A1200, Spheres of Chaos, and Minestorm for the Vectrex, are my favourite, and by far the best versions of Asteroids ever created...!!!
Is there some kind of rendered intro in some Super Stardust Amiga version? Perhaps the CD32 version? As I liked the great Stardust spaceship flying intro but I never saw anything similar with the Super Stardust, and thus was very disappointed.
