Hi, Ms Chanda, quick question. I noticed you left some of your hair out to cover the tracks, does that method only work for permed hair or would you recommend it for natural hair as well. I am natural and i would like to do a sew in but i dont know where to begin since my hair id so course (I say that because another stylist said i would have to press my hair everyday (the portion i leave out) in order to get that crisp look) IDK ?? @mrswimberly08The reason why people add synthetic hair while braiding is to create a stronger, long lasting foundation. You can braid with your own hair, however it will not be as strong or long lasting as adding synthetic hair. This method is optional so it depends on the person. I use this method , and it is very effective and lasts longer versus not using hair. Hope this helps!
