This is all a bit postmodern. Messing with the aspect ratios within the program is one thing, but the permanent lines down the side of the screen due to putting a 4:3 broadcast into a widecreen youtube video make this even more confusing.

Bloody Hell! Charlie covers the problem of aspect ratios to an undeniably comprehensive degree: continuing to nonce around with them, in real time, during his explanation is just confusing, not to mention fucking irritating!

i vaguely remember watching this, and thought it was hilarious. I then forgot about it, watched this hilarious show called "Screenwipe" then "Newswipe" as well as Nathan Barley and Dead Set. Now I learn that Brooker did this as well, which doesn't surprise me in the least cos this, like him and everything else he's done, is awesome
