One of those launches was great. Well you need to put less water in the rocket to decrease the mass and increase the thrust to weight ratio. Also stick some fins on the darn thing and yep it will fly.

Should try using "Lauching tubes" to achieve higher momentum at the beginning of the "Water stage" (I guess they loaded with too much water too) hence this kind of rocket doesn't go well at low speeds

I think it needs longer launch rails like the V1 flying bomb to allow it to build a higher airspeed so the stablizers have more effect.

Paul. Yes the two metre launch rail was essential - a 1 metre rail was a flop. I have kept the same launch rail because I have to move this thing in a car! Instead in 2008 I opened up the nozzles (7 mm diameter to 9 mm) to give a higher initial thrust - this was successful, and this year I opened up the nozzles again to 22 mm and the initial launch speed was much higher. However teh new mechanism was too complex (remember there are three nozzles) and the aerodynamics were poor. Onward to 2010

I can tell from this comment that you didn't watch to the end. The launch was actually pretty good (range 50 metres) and the launch in 2008 (see other video) was even better (range more than 80 metres)
