@HamzaIsAwesome123 make sure that you are running minecraft 1.8 and also make sure that your port is open by going into your router settings and then to port forwarding and opening the port. Also make sure that you leave the terminal open when you are running the server or else the server will not be open.

@CamoDeFlage what you have to do is first access your router from your browser by typing in its local ip address and then you have to go to port forwarding and then add the port 25565 so that it will be open. Each router works differently so I'm not to sure if that will work of you but you could also look up how to open a port of your router.
