I agree with you guy's i miss mt beacon so much!!.. God I love that place!!.. I spent so much of my life up there!. To the cancer survivor , God bless ya!!. Take the Service road up at the bottom of the Mt. It is an awesome hike and is the easiest way to the top. The old ski trail's are brutal!.I hope to get back there some day!.. now i'm stuck in Fla. Man i miss those Mt's. If anyone has a chance, go to the delaware water Gap in Pa.

Thanks! I have hopes to climb this moutain. can anyone who has tell me on a scale of 1-5 how hard it is? I am a recent recoverer of cancer, so I'd like to know exactly what I'm in for.

I've only climbed the mountain using the dirt road that ends at the reservoir and that was years ago (have no idea what shape the road is in now).
