  • Two trillion dollars in debit? Big deal Washington just did a 90 trillion Wall Street bailout.

  • You have no contract with debt collectors so if they ring tell them to fuck off! Simple.

  • You don't have to talk to these collectors. Turn the tables on them and have fun with them. Talk to them about your childhood, what you had for dinner, sing to them.... They will get the hint. Better yet, had the phone to the closest 3 year old.

  • @highcap56 ha ha lol! its called lexis nexus look it up...a massive database that pulls everything about u including your relatives phone numbers ...tell what you said....we just call your in laws or parents or siblings and leave messages there for you to call us! we run a business is profit its the american dream and no matter what a deadbeat will never outwit a collection agency....one reason why....we are money motivated we have the technology and the attorneys...goodluck on your endeavors

  • @yourturbinisdirty1 - Good luck with your massive database. Everyone in my family and all my friends knows the game too. You'll get nowhere with people that understand what you are all about and how to win your game. Remember ... SMILE and DIAL!

  • @highcap56 :) nowadays its, smile and dial and file! we dont waste time anymore we call once if you dont pay we just file it with the courts. its you that has to fight and worry about the courts now, not us,we just go home and sleep good and we just sit back and let the courts keep summons you to appear. we wash our hands of it, we let the courts deal with your iresponsibilities. smile dial file :)

  • harassed by bill collectors?! he is a man? pay your bills dude! what the fuck does your wife think when your whining like a baby about bill collectors calling you? you are a fucking girl! The guy next door pays his bills and his wife rides him like a horse cuz its manly to pay your bills and responsibilties, this dude is a fucking douche!

  • @yourturbinisdirty1

What a sad, pathetic comment, and it doesn't surprise me that the point of the clip has flown right over your head. Then again, collectors aren't known for their intelligence.

  • @dcamaggots debtors arent known for their intelligence...its your credit thats embarassing to pull when your buying a car or renting an apartment instead of owning a house while your friends own a home. bottomline we make great money and are debt free especially when you own the agency! :) its america...responsibility and freedom to make a lot of money...funny thing is foreigners arent deadbeats its people like you cuz you cry like babies. go make some money for your family or girlfirend

  • @yourturbinisdirty1

Funny how you should mention intelligence, yet your own message contains spelling mistakes.

"bottomline we make great money" - Enjoy it while it lasts, because the collection industry is in free fall and getting worse. That's fine with me.

"funny thing is foreigners arent deadbeats its people like you cuz you cry like babies" - Who's crying? I'm not getting defensive when other people criticise an industry that deserves criticism, if not shut down completely.

  • @yourturbinisdirty1 the only thing I hate about them is that they do not care if you had surgery and have been out of work for over four months recovering, they will still harass you. In other cases websites like eBay and PayPal charge you extra fees on purpose and then suspend your account so you can't pay the bills.

So like I said places like eBay & PayPal rip you off while the debt collectors couldn't give a damn about your situation.

  • @Seymourville I will say...out of all the debtors out there your the only deadbeat that said it how it should be said...your point respectfully taken

  • This is a Bull Shit I have been Riped off all i can say what a joke

" you talk about this crap "

what about the poor basterd like me

that has a family and has done the work and not got Paid for the work done ?

  • I had the unfortunate pleasure to deal with a debt collector on more than one occasion. He knocked on my door demanding payment for a bill that had been wiped out in a bankruptcy years before. He got snotty with me and told me I was a deadbeat. I told him to get lost and closed the door. He then sent a process server to my work who tried to gain access through a door when I told him to go away, he put his foot in the door, I put my weight behind the door and crunch. Never heard from them again.

  • Thats y i filed for bankrupsy the HAVE TO!! stop calling than u cant deny that

  • yeah but isnt filing for bankrupty worst that getting call from debt collectors.

  • When this guy says owe they said mean things he probably said something to bring them to that point. also coegary is right sure now debt collectors wont call enjoy your day in court where you will be ordered to pay your bill and court costs for both sides you have now possibly doubled what you owe and now it will go against your credit for 10 years. If you work with a debt collector they will work with you shooting down everything they say and not cooperating is going to get you nowhere.

  • when the banks change the rules, so will i. can,t collect a debt from a ssi check. Chase bank is a ripp off. I been paying for years but they want from 25 to 5% now on the unpaid balance, no way. Thats like selling you a car at so much a month and one year latter, you doulbe your payments. Screw em.

  • @quiggems

No, bill collectors can only do what the company gives them the power to do. They aren't always willing to work with you. I worked for a bill collector many years ago and I had co workers that would call customer's that made them mad away from work. They would call them from their cell phones or payphones and cuss the debtor out. Or prank call them. The company found out about this but could never do anything to the employees because they didn't know who they were.

  • "They aren't always willing to work with you"

Well obviously it depends if you are being reasonable.

If you are trying to get away with paying say $5 a month on a $1000 bill then they arent going to work with you

  • he says cease and disist and then get help but if the debt is a purchased debt they are going to refer you back to the collection agency because the origional creditor no longer owns the debt. credit help companies sure they help but the debt wont be paid off for like 4 years meanwhile the debt is still on your credit report. you can ask for the bill in writing but then what you have a bill telling you exactly what you were just told over the phone.

  • It is bad advice to tell people just to request Cease and Desist then irresponsibly tell them to get some help with their debt but not tell them what you mean. I'm sure "coegary" is likely a debt collector and suggesting to just pay it off is not the answer either since an attorney is still considered a debt collector and are subject to the same laws as a 3rd party collection agency. I wouldn't trust this advise either.

  • how come no one talks about just making arrangments to pay your bills? everyone just wants something for free. This yahoo telling you to tell them to cease & desist while yes it will get them to stop calling but the next correspond. will be a civil summon. Look, know who your dealing with, if its an atty office try to get something worked out. if its a 3rd party who bought a 6 year old debt that you havnt made a payment on in 6 yrs then its barred by SOL for non contract debt.

  • really for an 18 yr old, you have alot of life to live, you beter hope you wont get into debt

  • just accuse them of being 419 scammers and ask for a bill in writing

  • or ask for the "bill of debt" in writing, if thats what you meant then my bad:}
