Not many people know this; There is a glitch for Online Sneaking. It is not guaranteed to work when you are on a server, regardless of lag! Think of it as a error between client/server. a packet loss tells the server you were then don't then do hold shift.

So keep your keyboard. Its probably still good ;p

We learned this the hard way on the MCWB server.

The shifting problem is because you're trying to place 2 blocks at a time. When you place a block and you move to the other spot it gets glitchy and the feature that keeps you from falling tends to fail. Be careful when placing the 2nd block.
