-Feel bad after found aout howe bad my truck was build after see the ford eccobost videos and the followeing videos about fords deatails... My tundra...just fails conparde to the ford... all points at a point from ford, they didnt present tundras winning points, only thing they made bad . .
They make a twin turbo 4.5 liter diesel with 300 hpand idk torque for the Land Cruiser in other markets. I think that engine would be a PERFECT match for the Tundra and Sequoia.
the tundra is the best half ton truck on the market. i have a 2010 sr5 but not the cremax:( because i couldnt afford it, but i love that truck the tailgate is my favorite i pop it down with one hand so i dont have to put down my skis or boots and throw them in the back easily. i went with my fried and he has an f150 and i tried the same thing with the tailgate forgetting that it doesnt have an assist and it slammed down.. and the power is awesome
I test drove a dodge and F-150, without any bias and the tundra's engine performance impressed me the most. The interior was the best as well. I was favoring the F-150 and really wanted it to win me over, but since I had the money, I wanted the best money could buy. I bought a Tundra. I love it.
@DrCadillacV I completely disagree. I'd say this is the second best looking full size behind the obvious winner in the dodge ram. F-150 right behind the tundra and the titan and silverado way behind. Extremely disappointed with the newest silverados on the GMT 900 platform. I think the new design has made it look 10-15 years out of date and I just hate the look of nissan trucks they need updated.
Liked the review Dan, and thanks again for all you do. Still, I wish the world's oil supply was endless so I could entertain the idea of buying a truck like this without guilt!
The Tundra was made for hauling stuff, no doubt about that. It would be great to see Toyota offer a clean diesel option in the future ... with even more torque and significantly higher mileage.

Although the CrewMax is nice, it would be even better if it could be combined with a long or standard bed.

Unfortunately, the crewmax looks like an suv with a box.

The Tundra crewmax looks too much like an suv with a bed. The styling is too rotund...not chisled like Dodge, Ford.

Give me an American truck ,like a Ford F150
Or a Dodge, GM, Something safe.
