    MUSICAL DIVERSITY

  • 1:15 my favorite part :D

  • @8Dan0iel5

I can understand why-the intro of Louis Armstrong's wonderful music!

  • THIS should be what's on Itunes top list. On the radio, when I turn it on. On the TV, being advertised. In concerts. THIS. is music. Where has it gone?

  • @ZoeTWJ

Well, fortunately, it is still around and enjoyed by Jazz enthusiasts worldwide! YOU have to pick & choose your music tastes, that's all. It's still there! Thanks for your enthusiastic comment!

  • This is when the world had class. now its all just bullshit with hip hop and stupid 6 year old shit that every 1 think is awsome this is the shit

  • @HellishHockeyHound

It certainly was classy, I agree with you! Thank you for your comment!

  • im 19 years old an i think jazz & chillout r the best musik ever

    nice song very god^^

  • @SchokoTheBaer

I am glad that you enjoyed the video! Thank you!

  • @SchokoTheBaer Nobody cares about your age and nobody should, it should be completely irrelevant to weather you like jazz or hip hop.

  • @horbergus I think they are just trying to expres that they are not one who falls in with todays music, rather saying that they enjoy the older music over this generations music, so it is relavent. It is more likely for someone that age to grow up with the influence of this generations music.

  • @horbergus

    I agree!

  • @SchokoTheBaer

    You are special!

  • good old times please come back

  • @MoonBeyondTheClouds

What a nice comment! Thank you! They were good times, but we move on and must make the present the good old times as well!

  • Yes, we don't hear very much about him now, but he definitely left his mark! Thanks for viewing & commenting!

  • @enjoythevoyage and how to disagree with you my friend, well done music lasts forever, Greetings

  • It is a shame that Bing is so under-appreciated today.

  • I love those old jazz songs.

They remember me of something I don't even know, perhaps a happy and peaceful world...

    You know?

  • @isdochallesdasselbe

I DO know. It was a very peaceful & INNOCENT time, when we were not very sophisticated, but enjoyed life & each other! Things HAVE changed & it is a tribute to you & smart to recognize that! I do think that we WERE happier without youtube, facebook, iphones, etc!

  • luckily television came along in time to capture the 20's & 30's legends before time caught up to them... great ....

  • @RoryVanucch

yes, it was lucky that we now can enjoy their genius whenever we want! Thanks for your great comment!

  • Jazz, jazz, jazz , jazz....^_^

  • It has to do with the onset of TV & TV Programs! Jazz was available on TV for the masses!

  • They had coaxial cable in those days? I wonder what he meant by "all you slaves" to it. GREAT music, thanks for posting.

  • @davidrodgersNJ

Yres, they started coaxial cable in 1948, believe it or not! The "all you slaves" ,I think meant to Jazz!

Thanks for viewing and commenting and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

  • @enjoythevoyage Now I'm even more curious. What is the connection between jazz and coaxial cable?

  • luvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv jazz baby yuuuuuuuuuuuuu yea

  • Music like this really needs to come back to this day and age!! Really I would be enjoying this sooo much.

  • @ax974

Agreed! It kinda still is here as the classic it is!

  • @enjoythevoyage Though their aren't that many venues that would play this music, and it is pretty rare to find them...

  • @ax974

You are right! That is one of the good things about the internet. I gives us a chance to look back!

  • Oh, yeah!

  • Simplesmente eu queria estar na platéia !!!!!!

  • @julliopereiraa

LOL! The BEST comment! I subbed your videos!

  • That is Bing Crosby White soul brotha swagg

  • it was one of crosby's best.

  • @craigenputtock

His voice & style was veryt smoothe! It seemed effortless, but he was very talented & skilled!

  • This is one of the all-time amazing jazz performances; anyone who does not love this, simply does not like jazz... So go watch your favorite type of music and keep any bad comments about this video to yourselves, will you?

  • @joaumevi

Thank you very much for your kind comments! We share a love for good Jazz!

  • when i see the synergy and the merging of the two from 3:00 to 3:50 i think - how the f*** could there ever be racism when we get along so good?

  • @inner101aggression

    Well said and good point!

  • @inner101aggression Ain't it the truth ?...... Music has no barriers ever !

  • Thank you very much for your kind words and gracious comment! It makes me so happy when others enjoiy what I enjoy and that is classic music which is now in the past!

  • A great TV version of the classic scene from "High Society," very worthwhile because it's different. Thanks for posting this.

  • Hi There,,, Bing was involved in the early days of telecomm in Houston, TX.

  • Barrett Deems!! Look up some videos of him.

  • Pity about the stupid first 30 seconds! The rest if great. Could anyone upload the original without that beginning and higher quality?

  • @TrevorHawes1 Just search YouTube for "Now You Has Jazz High Society". It's the same piece, featured in the 1956 movie "High Society" but with better quality and music (IMO). Check it out.

  • These are all sample videos from Microsoft word....

  • @Nanipark50

  • Wish I was alive in that era; iv always said it; everything seamed so cool; peaceful and full of grace; Jazz music makes me focus and stay alert; that sounds weird coming from a 21 centuary guy like me who listen to artist such as the BEPs and Mariah Carey; these jazz cats are the originator; advise to y'all watch, learn and have fun with this video; but I think it's really awsome how these cats made music that is still listen today. Thank you

  • Bing and Satchmo never socialized but loved eachother as fellow musicians from what I've read...who really knows?

  • They were in a league of their own and they knew it! They were the pioneers of what was to come! Thanks for stopping by , viewing and commenting ! We share a love for classical jazz!

  • I respect jazz tremendously. I respect all music. I do though listen predominately to metal. However found myself never getting around to jazz. Now, I enjoy the sound, but one thing I've always been told about jazz is it's complexity. This doesn't sound that complex, this could be due to my lack of musical and instrumental ability and knowledge. Maybe the complexities very from jazz genre to jazz genre? I want the jazz with insane time signatures, etc. But I enjoy this a lot.

  • This is great music

  • It really is, isn't it? It transcends age and is enjoyed by all! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I am glad that you enjoyed the music! How can you go wrong with these giants?

  • awesome

  • Thank you for viewing and for your kind comment on my video! They ARE awesome, I agree with you!

  • this is music!! this is jazz!! yeahh

  • It is classical! I am happy that you enjoyed it!

  • oNE GOOD THING ABOUT mUSIC WHEN IT HITS YOU: YOU FEEL NO PAIN

  • It hits you softly!

  • Immortal, even better than the High Society version. What I love is that only a few weeks before this broadcast, Louis blasted President Eisenhower over segregated schools in the South, causing an uproar. Ford insisted that Satchmo be dropped from the show. Bing - who produced the program - said "if Louis isn't on the show, I won't be either." Then to really get in the company's face, instead of burying Louis deep down in the lineup, he *opened the show* with this duet!!!

  • Thank you VERY much for contributing your vast knowledge about Louis Armstrong to my video! I would love to add your enlightened and inspirational comment to the narrative on the vodeo and ,of course, give you full credit! This is what youtube should be about--many perspectives on any given video for enlightenment! Please let me know if it is OK to add your contribution to my video narrative! I am honored that you contributed.

  • @broadwayapple

I've been told Bing & Satchmo often did things like that, and that they were good friends. Do you know if this is true?

  • esto es unico y maravilloso, muchisimas gracias.

  • Gracias por tus amables palabras!

  • this is awesome im starting to listen to more jazz now. i have a weird music taste. i listen to rap, metal, outlaw country, and this.

  • I love all types of music as well! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words!

  • WOW. I have just started to educate myself in this type of music. Thank you so much for this. I think jazz is not comparable to other genres. So great!

  • Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm!

"Music is what feelings sound like." ~Author Unknown

  • @Packers412 Um, wouldn't you say that you think that OTHER GENRES are not comparable to JAZZ? The way you put it make you sound like you're badmouthing Jazz there, buddy. XD

  • I wish things were original like this nowadays! :D

  • Thanks! They were not copycats! They, indeed, were original.

  • harry lillis crosby

  • this is nice man :)

  • Yes, it is a treat. We'll never see the likes of these two greats again! Thanks for viewing and commenting.

  • That was SO cool and funny at the same time when Bing said "the amazon" and Sachmo exaggerated his scat in response. Freaking AWESOME!

  • They are still incomparable! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

  • Louis Armstrong proves that music is more than a drug... that's the true way to get high!

  • Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. ~Charlie Parker

  • I am so happy that you enjoyed this video! They are one of a kind and so talented weren't they? Ciao!

  • That music...!beautiful

  • Jackson is not fit to shine Crosby's golf clubs and I say that not because Jackson was a once and future African-American hermaphrodite and pederast in whiteface. Crosby promoted talented Black singers and entertainers throughout his career, and rightly so

  • Question. Who the hell brought up MJ? If you didn't like the man, whatever, but don't start crap about him on videos that are in no way related to him.

  • How do you know MJ was a hermaphrodite?? You could make a lot of money from the tabloids if you sold this story I have never heard... But you would have to explain how you knew this... :()=3

  • Beautiful, wonderful,

    Thanks!
