i had the env touch for like a month or so and it was the best phone ever . after that it turned off and onby itself. if i had it on silent it would turn on full blast. teachers dont like that lol. the touch screen texting is terrible. battery life worked ok with mine. the charger stopped working. the screen changed colors. btw if you dont carry a purse and your a pocket person like me dont carry this in your back pocket it will stop working because of the pressure you put on the phone.

@lolalynn15 get the env 3 i REALLY wanted the env touch but it doesnt work trust me on this dont get the env touch after an hour the touch screen brakes and the phone falls apart really fast its a ripoff to get the env touch because its 100 dollars more than the env3 so get the env3 its the BEST phone!

NEVER GET THE ENV TOUCH! well i have the env touch and i had it for 7 months in May and it was having problems like frezzing, not turning on, if i used to turn it off and turned it back on it would change all my backgrounds all my icons set everything so finally i took it into the store and their like oh it needs to software so they tryed that but it didnt work so they said the people that made it made the phone with broken phone parts and phone parts from 2001 so now im with the best the Droid

Battery life lasts 6-7 hours, if you text all day and use alot of mulit-media stuff, thats better than the iphone but worse than the droid, all in all this is a good phone and i just bought it, replacing the razor i had for 2 and about a half years!

As of about 2 weeks ago verizon is requiring all new phones with a full qwerty keyboard to get at least a 9.99 data plan

The only phone with a qwerty keyboard fir verizon which doesn't require this is the "intensity" which is an overall really shorty phone.

So just get the new data plan thing it's not that expensive.

Getting this phone FedEx tomorrow for my wife. Got it for $99 with 2 year connect plan for $54/month after my employer's discount. Not bad for 450 mins, unlimited text and unlimited data. It came down to this or the iphone 3G. Decided with our kids having the video recording was important and the Verizon network trumps ATT. Although the enV Touch isn't technically a smartphone, not sure we'll miss the smartphone features. I have a smartphone and hardly ever use the features like editing docs.

Actually genius, it does. The BIGGER the SIZE of the image, the more detail you get and therefore BETTER QUALITY. So when you take that image into a photo editing program and reduce it so it doesn't print the size of a poster, you can still keep the QUALITY of the image because it was taken at a higher megapixel format. Actually no thats why the 5.0 megapixel camera on the Samsung Omnia is around the same quality as the Env touch's 3.2 megapixel camera. If you dont have a bad lens but have a load of megapixels its going to look like shit but yet large because megapixels determine size. If you have a good lens but few megapixels its going to be a good picture but very tiny. Understand ?
