  • "Enough" OST!!!

  • This song helped me through the most troubling time in my life. My emotions were nothing but sorrow and I could not stop crying, I literally cried all day and night. My dreams were filled with flashbacks of a good life and I would wake up screaming. Sometimes, we do not know what we have until it is gone. But there is hope, afterall, I made it through. I didnt think it would ever get better, but here I am and I am doing great. Thank God and I am glad I had this song to help me persevere.

  • @johnnydelazerda wow get over it already loser

  • @woodenhead2050 wow, heartles man, heartless.....

  • This song is really emotional, if you had a bad childhood

  • This song has always been amazing to me. And it still never fails to make me cry.

  • this song reminds me so much of how my life has been. there has always been something to hold me and my family back, but my mom always finds a way to help us all push on through. never having had a male role model and watching my mom struggle with bills is what has framed my future- i never want my kids to go through what ive gone through watching my mom cry in the night through my bedroom doors. shes a strong woman. I love you mommy.

  • When ever i listen to the music, i am reduced to tears .

  • this song reminds me of everyone i ever lost :(

  • one of my favorite sad songs ever.

  • really a commerical really

  • It´s a beauty song, good luck from spain

  • the video is amazing :)

  • I love this song so much. I have luckily not had to witness anything this song says. But its so pretty and hopefully can raise awareness

  • I dont have a sad story like alot of people here. i just find the lyrics, music and the whole song as a package unbelievabely brilliant! The boys did an excellent job with this one imo

  • my mom use to sing this to me when tucking me into bed when i was little

  • i won a karaok with this.

  • This song will always remind me of my mother and how much she did for me. She always loved this song when I was a little kid. Only when I got older did I understand how much she went though after my dad left, trying to raise me and my sister on her own. Working 2 jobs and trying to do uni to get a better one. I love her for that and I'm very lucky to be her son :) she's truly an amazing person.

  • my gratitude to DARREN HAYES and TATZE1986 darren for the song and VERY TRUE lyrics life as a kid is outta our hands as adults we OWE our future generations a better start in life....LYRICS THAT REMIND ME OF CHILDHOOD should be lyrics that PREVENT children NOW from been abused,,abused as a kid is NOT an excuse to ABUSE your own kids now ...its an easy option as to how weak you are as an adult...seek help and KILL the cycle now...kids are innocent they dont ask to be born!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • just remember, woman children and men!! the help is there, if your an adult abusing get help, your childhood abuse is NOT an excuse or an alibi.........your an adult act like one!!!! kids ,,,hang in there buddies n seek help at all cost tell a teacher friend or ring child line the help is out there for you.....its not easy but it does work if you let it,and being an abused child i know its not easy to let help in......the GOOD far outways the BAD .....its a long road either way ....your future xx

  • This song got me and my two small children thru a very abusive marriage,i played it to myself daily. It gave me the hope to finally get away and start a new life elsewhere. The words are so like what my life was like.It still brings tears to my eyes whenever i hear it.Now i am safe and happier than before.Such an emotive song.

  • This song reminds me of when i was little cause i left my birth mother at that time and moved to so many foster houses till i found that my aunty wanted me to stay with her. I still remember her, and my aunty told me that birth mother and my father commited domestic voilence to so this song really is great for that kind of stuff.

  • love this song but to so many i am not know u but i am happy you are all safe and at peice

  • I've been free almost 11 years now. My ex husband passed away in 2009. This song takes me right back to when I took my 2 yr old daughter and fled 100 miles, then ping ponged across the country for the last 10 years to stay safe. We're settled now & I have 2 more babies. No more abuse for us, we are now living without fear. Our nightmares have now stopped.

  • Thumbs up of your listening to this in 2011! :)

  • @varathor7 timless. I've been listening to this since it came out! Thumbs up.

  • @varathor7 What a well thought out and insightful comment. The next highest rated comments (which have 33+ less thumbs up than you) are of people sharing their experiences with loss and domestic violence.

I'm sure this comment was little more than a copy-paste on many videos and that you don't really care about this comment or the video, but may you at some point look back and realise that all glory is fleeting.

    Peace.

  • @varathor7 Why is this on every savage garden song on here. Shush and listen to the song.

  • @varathor7 why is every old song have this comment???? OF COURSE you are going to listen to this in 2011 and 2012 as a tune does not lose its tune of being a tune!!! (you know what I mean) !!

  • @varathor7 thumbs up too if your part of 2012 re-awakening

  • @varathor7 well, i am really listening this in 2012 :)

  • Thank you. I grew up with an abusive father that used to go so far as to make my mother myself and my brother watch him beat on us individually. When my brother and I tried to stop him hurting one of us, my mother would turn around and punish us and sit back while my father hurt us.

This is the first time I have ever been able to listen to this song without crying my eyes out.

  • This song... Damn..

  • Very Cool & Creative! U Know, it would be much prettier if u made video-cam recording while drawing these scenes and make it look like u r interactively drawing graphics for the song story instead of the transitions... =)

  • @Mumsieish Stay strong.May God grant you even more strength and protect you and your children.

  • this song broke me up cant say e3nuff 4 this song guys

  • I can sing this song well but just not at the same pitch as darren. I guess this is his magic, his uniqueness, his talent. The thing that seperates the best from the rest

  • (Posted by Youtube Stream for iPhone (yst.me) on behalf of _____cana at twitter)

  • :'( beautiful video

  • The song is about a wife who was abused by her husband, and she couldn't take it anymore, so she left, but knew at some point she'd have to go back and endure it all over again. :c

  • My oldest son & I lived this with my 2nd husband. When my 2nd child was born I left as I almost died. My oldest sons father (my 1st husband & one true love) flew across country & drove me to Ca. I only regret I didnt get out sooner as my 1st son was abused. Then again I wouldnt have my 2nd child. Well happy to report I am with my 1st husband & we now have our 22 yr old and an 8 yr old. God will help you get out if you ask. There is help. Protect yourself & your children!

  • This song reminds me of some very bad memories :'(

  • to al the abused wives, husbands and children out there, please seek help it does get better and easier.just not immediatley tho but if ur ready help is at hand ,you can do it just be strong n stay strong, please it can work, it worked for me just remember YOUR CHILDREN DONT ASK TO BE BORN, its ur job to find the stenghth as an adult to change the situation, if you cant do it for you do it for them, otherwise ur not worthy of being a mum or a dad it will be hard but ur kids are the reward

  • Very Nice... Thank you ♥♥♥♥♥

  • Be honest don't know much about Savage Garden had this d/l by accident, it's a very generous honest song that might help some people when they're down.

  • I found quite a few of the 'scenes' to be kinda obvious, the song has so much to it, you could have pulled out a couple less everyday/common images.

  • i love savage garden..i wish they revive their group..both of them..i like their tandem, their songs..I LOVE U SAVAGE GARDEN FOREVER

  • beautiful song ♥

  • this is what music suppoed to be - to inspire people. Looking at all the comments, this song was never a radio hit song but I'm sure it has a bigger impact on people than many of those songs will ever have. It's so sad that savage garden had to break up, i always pray from time to time that they will reunite.

  • This is amazing thanks so many memorys. Got in the car after my ex was abusive to me and put my son in the car this came on the radio and gave me the faith to go. Hes nearly 9 now and life is great. Love this song saved my and my sons life. x

  • I remember listening to this song when I was younger. It was a time when I used to get bullied at school. I was attacked by a guy in my class once and it left me with the biggest bruise. My mum saw it and wanted to know what it was; I remembered making so many different excuses. I always thought that this song could have been about me as well.....

  • your childhood is out of your control your future is totally yours to change,i changed mine!!! be a decent adult get help if you need it.if not your not worthy of your future kids, threy didnt ask to be born, show the world n yourself you are the best x I DID n its fantastic x

  • hey everyone grandaughter olivia born 10/3/11 mummy n baby ok n nana very very happy n oohh so lucky, lifes is what you make it, we cant change our childhood but we can rescue our future, hang in there if you are or were abused, life does get better, if you want it to, your adult life is your responsibility, take councelling if you need it, if you need it it doesnt mean your weak, it means you don't want to follow the root of others n it means you care, it worked for me, x

  • @juister31 woow lol my name is olivia! aww bless her and your daughter and her family as well.Congratulations to you all.Xxx.Olivia

  • WOW! such an emotive subject it is sometimes too hard to put into words! I wasn't actually physically abused 4 the duration of the 14 year marriage but emotionally had my head banged against the wall on a daily basis behind my kids backs so when the shit finally hit the fan and had to call police they didn't understand. 8 years on it is still hard sometimes but we are all happier without him!

  • You did a great work on this!

  • thanks for sharing this...:)

  • i wish i could hear this song again for the first time...

  • who are the 83 GOBSHITES who don,t like this....oh i know the wife and kiddie batteres

  • I love this song and your video is superb but can you not allow us to embed it? What are your reasons for not allowing embedding? You say you want to raise awareness of domestic violence so this would help. Regardless, thanks for this beautiful video.

  • 83 people don't have Two beds and a Coffee Machine

  • Absolutely love the style of the images it really captures that sad feel to the song but i wish it was animated in a similar style to that of the JCB song video. That would have been the icing on the cake.

  • AMAZING song , for real, Darren has such a beautiful voice and this lyrics just flawless

  • this is a cool video. Wondering who drew those pictures! this is pretty awesome. Did u do this to any other songs or no? This song's pretty sad & the drawing's pretty amazing. Good work :)

  • @lilminx2011x i don't know why but i prefer listning to what my parents use to listen too i guess it's a part of them so it's a part of me afterall we all came from our parents..

  • Another ditch in the road you keep moving another stop sign keep moving on

  • The day you realise you can make it end, is the day your daughters make sure that for them , it never begins xx

  • My song, my life (at least it was). Five years ago I found the strength to change it. And here we are today. At times life isn't easy, but it's getting better. The children are growing up into beautiful little people. And I'm starting to discover who I really am.

  • Listen to the lyrics of this song. Sadly the story for so many people...

  • i always want to cry when i hear this one.

  • after only a year of escaping the hell some people call my family home. and lissening to this song for the 1st time since i was little and begged my mum to run like the lady in the song did and she never did. i broke down into tears, thank you for giving a little girl some hope in hell

  • love this, brilliant!

  • That was beautiful. Thank you :)

  • That looks great. I have figured out the best way to make a latte at coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com

  • wow songs from savage garden got some asian favor i like it :)

  • i think the song goes out to everyone "another ditch in the road, you keep moving". just don't give up even the world seems to be against you.

  • Your sketches are perfectly suited for this song. Your video is so good it might as well be the official music video. Simple, but yet very powerful, and conveyed the much needed message very clearly. Perhaps the most powerful image for me is the motel room at 2:19 showing the children that the mother is trying to protect, who sadly often pay the ultimate price for doing so. I pray for all these women and children and hope they somehow find the resolve and determination to live, and to seek help
