  • 0:01 are they eyes following me?

  • I really want to ride the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland!

    Why didn't you?

Oh, I tried once! *flashback* It didn't end well.

  • i remember the old system and it scared me....now i went to wwd about 4 years ago and i didn't like the new system

  • Dammit TDO I liked how old the effect looked. It was more eerie then funny.

  • These look pretty creepy when you examine them up close. I know it would be really cool to say that you own some retired classic Disney animatronics, but who would want these in their house!? I wounder who bought them.

  • @ThePlatypusAgent *wonder ;)

  • Creepyyy!!!

  • I remember back when I went on the haunted mansion ride. The scene with the dancing spirits was simply amazing! And the part when one the hitchhiking ghosts appeared to sit next to me really took me by surprise! It was truly a wonderful experience!

  • Omg everyone needs to get over it...

  • scared the hell out of me...

  • 0:30 does that ghost have a butt?!?

  • @quadboat26 I saw that too!

  • This is sad, Disney replacing real artistic integrity with crappy projections.

  • everytime they go to sit next to me i never get the bearded midget

    I WANT THE MIDGET

  • The guy who bought them literally did a crazy dance around the room after he won the bidding.

  • Phineas looks like he has had eyes added to him...the ones @ DL if I remember DOESN'T have eyes when he stares back at you in the Doombuggy....

  • It really bugs me that these were sold.

    Maybe that is just me.

  • 38,000! I would love to see a interview with the lucky people or person who got these. Im glad to hear that disney still has some..

  • someone is so lucky. I would love them :)

  • They sold for $38,000 highest item of the auction.

  • Did Guillermo buy them? :P

  • @jedislurpee

I'm hoping Alice Cooper has them.

  • i noticed that Phineas has a bullet hole through his hat.

  • how much are they estimated to sell for?

  • At the begining, Phineas's eyes are following the camera.

  • i want the one with the hat small to put in my room :D

  • BOO!!!! HISS!!! Disney SHOULD NOT be auctioning these. They should've NEVER replaced this classic illusion with that CHEESY, POORLY-CRAFTED animation/photo sales-op-in-disguise. TDO is RUINING WDW's Haunted Mansion. This is what happens when marketing execs do jobs that require real, experienced and sophisticated artists and storytellers. WHAT A SHAME!

  • @TheHatboxGhost Couldn't have said it better myself. I just hope Guillmo Del Toro is the one to get these. Maybe he'll insist they be put back after the movie is a success... Or not. But I can dream.

  • @DisturbedGuest i think they will be in the new version. after the somewhat disaster of the original attempt, maybe they will listen to the fans this time around and the creators of the attraction.

  • They stare into your soul......0_0

  • I love these, but I'd have no use for them in my home. lol They'd scare me at night. ha

  • @MovinRightAlong91 No one does. They contain hazardous materials and should not be brought into a home.

  • The Mickey behind them is cute. Looks like Steamboat Willie but what was it supposed to be? Also what was the Alice thing behind them?

  • I envy the lucky duck who gets to take those home!

  • When I first saw the picture, I thought that the one that was shown was a costume.

  • It's cool to see them finally follow someone home, but then again it's also kind of sad when you think about it. Just the fact that this was one of WDW's best tricks borrowed from Disneyland and just the fact that they're giving them away just for the sake of new technology but I digress.

  • Whats with the pook a looz at 0:28 ?

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is all I can say!!!

  • Wonder if Guillermo del Toro's gonna buy these guys like he did with the Hatbox Ghost last time or if he's getting another set from that carousel.

  • Haha Gus has dreadlocks

  • You sir win a medal for scaring me within 5 seconds of the start of the video

  • that would be a great thing to own...imagine it in your haunted house at home!

  • they have ass's :)

  • It must be cool to see them up close like that.

  • i think those are the old hitchhiking ghosts that appeared to be seated with you and where placed behind mirrors, now that WDW's haunted mansion doesn't use that system anymore, this are the ones they are auctoning.

  • @omcgh That's correct! There were several sets of these running around a carousel behind those mirrors. The rest are... still somewhere at Disney.

  • @InsideTheMagic Probably stored for archival purposes, like most of their items

  • @InsideTheMagic These figures should be at work inside The Haunted Mansion. TDO is replacing real magic with CGI images that are of poorer quality than what is found in a standard video game. They ought to have their heads examined -- on their way out the door to their new jobs at Chuck E. Cheese!

  • @InsideTheMagic Geez, how much did it sell for?

  • @InsideTheMagic I hope they don't end up like the hatbox ghost. Disappearing without a trace.

  • @NatashaDumbeldore

Concidering how the Hatbox Ghost will be an important character in the Del Toro Movie, I'm sure that they'll do something to remember them too.

  • @InsideTheMagic More like the Orlando County dump...if they did keep everything, then the WDW Hatbox Ghost would have turned up by now...

  • awesomness!!!

  • those are the original?

  • So cool! What a great piece of Disney history to own
