That last sequence was pretty nuts! I'm surprised that three bona fide top box office actors were allowed to partake in such dangerous stunt work.  William Holden must have been pushing 80 when he did that scene.

@MyLalinea 1974 is when the movie came out and i noticed at the end of this the copyright also shows 1974.

@turockandar: You should see Earthquake. There's an entire scene in there involving a skyscraper and it's pretty creepy how similar it seems to 9/11.

I noticed that in this film the hose have too low presure, like if normal pressura would extinguish too fast the fire in the set.
