  • A little bit drunk?! Lol. That squire is TANKED!

  • A "..little bit drunk"?! Lol. That squire is TANKED!

  • Holy goosebumps...to be watching this as a sentimental favorite, but not knowing until 40 yrs old that my family's ancestral home is on video. Lovely village, lovely folks, don't want the skull as an heirloom!

  • Most of the tales sound like Sherlock Holmes mysteries.."The Adventure of the Drowned Squire" or "The Adventure of the Screaming Skull", lol. However, unlike most shows I enjoyed as a kid, this one has aged rather nicely.

  • Yikes. Better like who you do away with... For they may NEVER leave you...

  • Classic .Thanks for posting.

  • I remember this used to always come on around Halloween time every year. And it used to scare me each and every time.

  • Why did I want to scream 'File Footage!" when I saw the swan? =0)

  • Secrets of Coral Castle, Oak Island, MAry Celeste, and Ogopogo are Great episodes

Loch Ness, UFO's, Atlantis, are good episodes

I think these ghost ones are silly. There is so much inference, so much assumption. Nimoy makes alot of assumptions as to what stuff is,

  • this was made what in the 1970's when mens dicks had side burns!!!

  • the skull worked itself to the surface?

  • Damn horse ditched the Squire.

  • this series was epic !!

  • Back in the day, they didn't even know anything about BACs (blood alcohol levels). I'll bet that squire was so intoxicated that he was already dead before he even hit the waters.

  • Best reenactments ever.

  • The guy at 0.33 looks rather scary himself...

  • you can lead a horse to water but He might drown you

  • The horror of the skull is very frightful, Brrr..

  • why would they not bury Him as they should?

  • Love that spooky music.

  • You said it, about that music, Gallery. When I used to watch In Search Of 30 years ago religiously on those weekend afternoons, I would look over my shoulder when they revealed creepy factoids or imagery and the music added. Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack on NBC was a great successor to In Search Of with similar kind of docu-drama supernatural format with its own creepy music and all. I miss shows like those.

  • Bettiscombe Manor's skull is actually that of a woman who died three to four thousand years ago. It was examined by a pathologist in the sixties.

  • Is that right? I'll look it up. Thanks for the information. :)

    Wolfe

  • I heard that too, still that is one heck of a heirloom, isn't it?

  • What about the legend of the slave?

  • this is the best show for unexplained stuff and wasmy fav as a child

  • Awesome thanks for posting this! One of my Favs :)
