@TheDec0Drummer the way he has it is the more common way, but either way sounds the same, personally i have mine the other way around just cause its easier to balance

Love your covers and the kit sounds great, but I'm not a big fan of the snare sound.

I think hes only micing the top of the snare so it should sound pretty awesome when both sides are miked if it sounds like this when only the top is ;)

@UberPiroxsFriend Very true, but if you only mic the top you get a great recording to play with at mixdown, of course, if you do bottom mic too, it gives you more to play with, I personally love this snare sound!!! Its all subjective I guess?
