So well put youve put into words how Ive been feeling for a long time.Religiousosity is a dis ease that carries a person away from the real essence of Jesus and his taechings remaining rooted in ego as oppossed to the HolySpirit.I have really experienced it being very much it being frowned upon to another perception or view point that challenges the churches view Thaks for sharing this It has help me in the procress of clarifying what really is real and what you would like to think is real
I think that is what Christ has always wanted us to do, is follow Him. I think the church(building) can be a good thing, and good for building up one in the faith, but there might come a point when the church becomes more of an institution, than a spiritual house of worship. At that point you must decide whether to follow Christ or your denomination. You must seek the spirit and educate yourself on what the bible truly teaches, instead of taking a pastors word for it, though his intentions good.
Faith is acceptance of what we cannot see but feel deep within our hearts. Faith is a belief that one-day we will stand before our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Faith is NOT from the church. Look through out history when the "common" man wasnt allowed to read the Bible and woman were not allowed in the churches. They were TOLD what to belive. And the leaders of the church had the final say. Wasnt this just there "scriptural opinion", yet they where the church whom we were to be taught from.
We get faith from the church. The church teaches us what to believe, and what not to believe. Otherwise it's just scriptural opinion and we'll have another denomination added to current 30,000+ denominations.
If a soldier in an army took upon your philosophy, he would be dead very quickly.
