  • Good Video, and helpful! I've always been embarred when we play blues at local open mic. Now I know! If you were to play 1/3/5 triads on a 1-4-5 pattern, would the 3rds be flatted? Minor chords?

  • you do not play minor chords

you should play all 7th chords

which are the 1 3 5 and flat 7 of each scale

even tho the blues scale has a minor 3rd in it

  • nice thx!

  • Thank you, this helped alot. I had an improvisation class in the blues yesterday and found it quite difficult, but I realise now that it dont have to be hard to sound good and its really quite easy when you get to know the structure! Thanks again!!!

  • it helped a lot, thanks a lot.

those three chords are the same ones for the same scale in the key of g :)

  • thanks, this helped.

  • Nice work

    it really helped

    thanks
