My Great Uncle flew a 51 in the 370th fighter group 9th out of Belgium and glad I have that to tell.Theres also a book out about them by Author Jay Jones I want to get ..Oh by the way he was a Major and CO in the 485th fighter suadron ..

Until you've been underneath a Mustang on a strafing run and seen them pull up almost ballistically you have no concept of the awsome power they possess.
