I was early, and my parents were planning on going to the show anyways, but she went into labor a wee bit early, but hell, when I heard the Dropkick Murphys were playing, who wouldn't wanna come out!?!?

Seen these guys live...They're one of my favorite bands, They are fucking awesome live..They sound just as good live..Everyone owes it to themselves to go see a Dropkick Concert..Its amazing.. I'll go see them everytime they come near where I'm at.. I'm Army so I move around alot...But they are well worth seeing live, trust me

This song refers to the battle of Fort Sumter. The first shots of the civil war were fired at Fort Sumter, South Carolina in April of 1861.

However, the song is not about that battle, but rather the horror of that war.

PS: Shiloh was a battle in the American Civil War that took place in April of 1862.
