I just don't understand why you can't let people believe what they want to believe as long as it doesn't go over someone elses rights and bounds, or why some athiest's have to make a point to make people sound stupid for just having some kind of faith. Yeah, some people have weird customs, but religion is almost like an opinion; everyone is entitled to one, and they are almost all different.

I have no access to it, I have no control over, ergo I have no choice but to let people believe whatever the fuck they want to. People have the right to believe anything they want to and if they believe something stupid I have the right to point that out. Some religious people are using their stupid belief system as an excuse to deprive others of human rights.

I'm a Wiccan, I won't go off telling you my life story, but in short, we believe that you should do what you want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, including myself. @TrevorDonCross "Let other people believe what they want to" is a stupid thing to say for exactly the reasons that I stated earlier. I actually used this one in my latest video. I have no way of not letting others believe what they want to I can only evaluate beliefs and and point it out if the belief system is destructive to society. It's a line that keeps coming up and it functions as a 'thought-stopping cliche.' I have a video on that too, "Thought Stopping Cliches." Check it out.

@TrevorDonCross I agree that Wiccans do tend to be peaceful. I don't believe in any religion but if I had to make a choice between hanging out with New Agers or fundamentalists I'd go with the Wiccans and Pagans in a heartbeat. Much nicer people. But beliefs do affect behavior. If you believed that there was a time-bomb planted in the room you are in -- would that change the way you are behaving now? People who subscribe to an irrational violent belief sysem behave in an irrational violent way.
