I failed the math CAHSEE by about 1 question. Literally. I was so fucking pissed. I have to retake it again in 2 days and I'm so fucking nevous. As if the SAT wasn't enough.. :/ this is too stressful

How in the hell does ANYONE have trouble with this shit? Took it my sophmore year, finished both parts in an hour and a half (total), missed one question on the English portion. The fact that some of you go as far as failing this shows how terribly the California Public School system fails it's youths...

@XxXGzusXxX The word "youth" is plural in itself and doesn't need an "s" at the end. Don't go bashing other youth about their learning disabilities when you have some work to do yourself. The problem of under-educated youth is far more complex than the failure of the public school system.

Good point. Although the subject of under-education stretches beyond the issues of public school systems, my point was that the public schooling systems of California fails it's students and that this test is far easier than any Exit Exam should be. The fact is that our youth is currently fucked, our test scores being some of the lowest in the nation. The reason I'm talking so much shit is because my peers are prime examples of this.

I passed the CAHSEE last year and it was fucking easy. It didn't help me improved my academic skills.

I feel sorry for all of y'all. I hate these fucking High school exit exams. I am not a resident of Cali, but am a resident of Georgia and the state mandated test over here in Georgia is just pure fuckin hell. They just put us (here in GA) to the fuckin nails with hard questions that 1 in 100 of the graduating class do not know. What I am basically saying is that here in Georgia, High School is a BITCH!

This is all 8th grade level stuff, guys... Algebra 1 and 8th-grade level English; you should know all this stuff already.

And even if you don't pass on your first try, you have until Senior Year (that's three years!) to pass this test.

so......today i took the English language art part of the test......it took me 6 hours to finish both the essay and the reading part......and yeah......i think i pretty much failed it........

Tomorrow is the math part of the cahsee....which im gonna pass....cause im good at math.

Now i have to wait about 8 weeks for the results.......
