Great song, though it could stand for a church organ and a more pronounced choir; then it would sound a little like Therion's "Via Nocturna."

It is unfortunate that nowadays when the word "gothic" shows up, prepubescent girls are either the attracted or intended audience. I suppose it is preferable they listen to this than a lot of modern music.

I mean, it's got a lot of differences from Rhapsody, like the riffs are a little more simple, the symphonic influences are different too (like, from different kinds of classical music) and it's more rythmic. Which just proves Luca actually knows how to make different music, and for that, he's awesome.

Apparently the gothic cathedral converts people ot christianity mostly by portraiting powerful images of nasty things such as hell and heaven:

The latin verses underline this, IIRC they are about hell fire

But it gets interesting:
