This is one pretty fugly design. Cannot even begin to compare the compare class and style of the 2007 E350. Getting angular looking like a Honda Accord sure not the way to go. I agree, it looks cubist.

I don't know what I expect from the E class, but every time I have seen a new model it has kind of the same effect on me. At first I really like it but then feel like in a year it will look old, dull and not very unique in features. Why is this? It doesn't happen with 5 Series or A6's.

Well 12 years ago my mom bought a brand new e320 and a year ago she gave it to me, and bought her self a cls but besids that the E still runs like the day she bought it and goes to the shop once a year along with the cls for its routine check up. The E has been the best in its class for 20 years or so and i cant wait till the new generation comes out.

I hope their QUALITY improves but I doubt it, I had to dump my 2007 E after 18 months because it was at Mercedes 12 times in 18 months. I purchased a new CADILLAC CTS 3.6 DI and have a quality car with ZERO defects so far (4 months) German Quality equals misconception !

I drive E class every day in my taxi. I really do hope, that the new one has got better handling, and is is more a drivers car. Not so soft and wobling on the road.

there is a pretty good chance that the interior that was shown in the vid and the mag ARE NOT gonna be in the final production version. I have seen a more rounded, nicer-looking interior console photo of the W212 E-Class on AutoExpress. This is just a mule-type version, it wont be on official car.

my fiat stilo interior does a better impression of luxury, seriously. maybe it just looks bad in pictures, we shall see.
