  • the monster is so sluggish that a geriatric could get away from it!! Also the transfer of real lizard to 'giant' does not work well--you're never convinced that its huge.

  • That's not a Gila Monster. It's a Mexican Bead Lizard.

  • I wonder if this is something you could call Samuel L. Jackson on, I mean it isn't a snake, but it's kinda close.

  • Great special effects! It looks just like a regular-sized gila monster!

  • @larodem but in fact he is realy big.

  • TERRIBLE MOVIE the freaking monster doesn't even rampage through the town. the whole movie is more about 50s teenagers

  • lol @ 15 secs

Man: ''Did you see the skidmarks out here?''

Sheriff: ''Yes, but you must forgive them, they were very scared''

  • so funny la......

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • I saw this on the late late late late show when I was a kid. I thought it was one of the most frightening movies I'd ever seen.

Later when I saw an actual Gila Monster I just about fell over laughing.

  • I saw this in the movies 1959 when I was 7 years old, even then I thought it sucked.

  • The first time I saw this was like July in Disney World- SCI FI DINE IN, BETCHES!

  • "Devouring people as if they were flies!" Why did I laugh at that?

  • Cult classic! Much better than modern " horror" movies.

  • this horror sci fi film historian can tell you this is not a bad little film. i have it on dvd its funny, silly, acting not great but good cast anbd the monster isnt the best for the 5os but all these forgotton minor horror gems are making millions to this day. they did something right. this film is so bad its good and considered nice little effort. i liked it. sorry folks but thats the stiry of life. make a bad film and it will make fruends and millions easily. TOMK

  • Heh.

It seems that people either love this movie or hate it.

I personally think it is a classic and I love it.

It's simply a classic bit of hokey drive-in movie making.

    And that's good enough.

  • LOL! I'm a proud owner of this film!

    A classic, indeed.

  • Me Too!!!!

  • So am I!

  • @baddog7676

    As am I. XD
