  • Acid house 15 years prior @ 0:49! Love the whole sinister intro!!! Speaking of acid...imagine being at this concert on acid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrghhhh!!!!!!!!!! and a big friendly Zappa "Hello" @ 5:22!! Just love this concert version of Caroline Hardcore Ecstasy @17:16! Best rock concert ever? Quite possibly!

  • extremely cool of you. many thanks. I am enjoying this and sending it along to another friend.

  • WOW... The Clash originally wrote "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" in 1981, reportedly.... Apparently, Frank wrote it way back in 1975!! Zoom-in at 47 minutes!!!

    Tell me I'm wrong...

  • @ArthurSchitzIII

Wow...good ears. Maybe it's a set of well known chords that maybe be comparable to the blues scale or something. Otherwise, somebody's gettin' sued...

  • Great to have this entire concert. I've always thought this was one of the best bands of 1975, and this concert is further evidence. thanks for sharing this.

  • Your video is popular on Doha

  • beefheart rules! the mothers are good... but the magic band is sick...

  • Some people think that if they go to far, they'll never get back to where the rest of them are

I may be crazy, but there's one thing I know - You might be surprised, at what you find out when you go, oh.

  • Frank Zappa & Captain Beefheart - Bongo Fury (live)(1975) ?

  • Inner Ears.

Most people are either Left or Right Brain Born or Trained ,while there are some people who have managed to link both Hemispheres making this music ~~~~~Pure ~~~~~Joy !!!

  • @mclightime Tesla knew he had a higher calling.

    take care

  • I cannot Frank you enough Thankly !!

  • Thank you,,, great post!

  • This is tremendous. Dog breath you for this upload!

  • This is sick....At times it sounds like sketches from spain by Miles Davis

  • Thanks for upload

  • Even in the 21st century not too many people get this.

  • @stomp919 But be grateful that Frank and the Mothers were there for us that do get it.

  • @MrCycloneBrian Amen brother.

  • @stomp919 specifically?

  • Thanks a bunch!

  • Thanks for posting! This really made my day...

  • Thanks for sharing this amazing show !

  • delicious, i want more

  • Great show!!! I love this version of I'm not satisfied.

  • Am I crazy or was Beefheart only on one song? Why does he share top billing? And why wasn't he featured more?

  • @DuncanMeece Isn't the captain singing on tracks 8 and 9?

  • @pattinton That's Jimmy Carl Black.

  • @DuncanMeece Zappa said in an interview that Don was not very good at keeping time on or off stage, so he could only use him for a certain amount of stuff

  • Pffouuuu.... too much questions :

Who's on Bass on the first title (Apostrophe ? ) Not as explosive as Bruce, but great tellurique. Difficult not to be good on such an instrumental...

Is this whole thing recorded and buyable in HQ somewhere ?

Any advices for frustrated Beefheart fans : who's the next, still living and that we can listen today !

    Thx

  • Cool... that's my artwork!

  • Uno de los mejores conciertos,si no el mejor,de la historia de la MUSICA. ZAPPA ES ZAPPA.... Hay dos tipos de música: Frank Zappa y el resto.

  • They keyboard playing here reminds me of Gentle Giant. That is all I have to contribute.

  • Gail wont let us play his music anymore in public....SO......time to make a record..zappa style

  • I can't remember how many nights, under the influence, that Frank & The Mother's messed with my head, and I survived. That S.... is still embedded, only wish I could turn back the clock

  • Unusual to hear "Apostrophe" live - Frankly I like it...

  • @thekwaze "Frankly" err...

  • This is awesOme. Thanx for taking the time to post it. Tom Fowler with Bozzio. Just beautiful.

  • In various ways much better than the released album from the same concert period.

  • Napoleon Murphy Brock is one of my biggest heroes. That Trombone solo at the end of POUND FOR A BROWN by Denny Walley was AWESOME.

  • @jeggierecords Bruce fowler was the trombonist,Denny was slide guitar and vocals.

  • Napoleon Murphy Brock is one of my biggest heroes.

  • Live @ The ARMADILLO N Austin Taxes'75

  • Why pay upwards of £35 for a cruddy vinyl bootleg when you can get it here?

Endless thanks for this....come on, Zappateers...stick 'em on youtube!

  • @bigtone1348 Frank DID say at the very beginning that it COULD be recorded, so HELL YEAH!!!!!

  • @bigtone1348 I be doing that as we speak. Putting up all the B grade and higher Bongo Fury shows on YouTube. Not the B- and below though. YouTube's stupid and degrades the sound lower.

  • Thanks so much for uploading this!

  • caught this tour in nj and LI and still havent recovered......

  • By the way, track 10 Debra Kadabra - mono.

  • And was that the illustrious Marty Perellis on opening announcement vocal?

  • This tour has the distinction (if one can call it that) of being the only time when FZ played in my home state of... WV.
