the casualties make alright music, they seem to have a lot of great influences, but the fact that almost every song they write is about how "punk" they are kinda makes them seem like posers.
Exactly. I personally don't care that they do mohawks and all that, but on their album "For the Punx" They have the songs Punx and Skinz, Punk Rock Love, Chaos Punx, Police Brutality, For the Punx, Riot, etc.
well there only fucking punx! what do you think?? i see punk as being an indivisual and being free. and singing about whatever the fuck you want! im tierd of people trying to put rules on punk. lame fucks!
@javiesta i know, i'm such a fucking poser. i don't think i have enough patches on my leather jacket either. fuck the system! punk's not dead! i have no idea what i'm talking about but i might as well just hop on the bandwagon and call everybody a poser who doesn't like the most generic, fake punk band in existence!
I'm not saying they aren't real punks, they probably are. The thing is they can't get by on musical talent, and need the hair to get noticed. Their early music is really sub par compared to most other punk, I think some of their stuff is okay, but this stuff is really nothing compared to early street punk with less hair gel that they steal their sound from, Skeptix seems to be their biggest influence, but this sucks compared to them.
I'd rather listen to most of their contemporaries than this.
k, i see what you mean. this is my favorite band, but i agree with you at the same time. great point. hey, can you do me a favor and check my band? lol the reprobates-what im not
Nice footage of Rachel on vocals, this is possibly rarer than having Colin on vocals.
By the way for all those wondering this footage is very old. Probably 1990-1991 because its Rachel here instead of Colin (This is probably the brief period where Colin went to finish school and Rachel filled in for him).
on the Early Years CD theres actually a pic with him wit a purple hawk n green sides.its on the back with the track listing near the bottom right i believe
yeah i really think the early years had some of the best stuff cause it all about being a punk and stuff like that and i can relate to that but their new album under attack is about all the stuff that is going on in the world like in politics and war and i just cant relate to that
that bitch is fucking annoying as hell
