  • Dale deserved what what he got. rubbing may be racing, but Dale took things to far.

  • One of my favorite races ever!

  • this is my favorite bristol moment personally i like this better than 1999

  • @kearlyta this is the crash and win

  • well earnhardt got took to school by a crystal meth addict at pocono

  • @ 4:30 there's Terry Labonte's 2 cents

  • Comment removed

  • @ 4:13 Dr. jerry "someone knocked the corn flakes outta this chevy" LOL

  • 2:50 Look at how fast that gap was closed!! I know a slow car was holding Terry up a little but LOOK AT THAT!

  • Comment removed

  • bad luck dale if he had done this at 2 to go none of that is going to happen.

  • they need to rip up this 'progressive' banking BS and put it back the way it was.

  • @427BELAIR amen

  • I like how the drivers still have fun even tho they wreck haha If kyle bush was in the 5 car still he would of been bitchen the whole time

  • @Pxcam

Hell, if Kyle was in the 5 car, he wouldn't care about winning the race, he would whine about how he was unfairly wrecked, in the same fashion he wouldn't think twice about doing to someone else.

  • i did the same to mark martin in nascar 06

  • The only thing that was annoying in this was Dr.Punch, i mean i like him, but omg, terry couldn't get out of the car or really celebrate because Punch kept shoving the mike in his face and telling him to come look at the front.

  • Looks like someone pissed in his Corn Flakes.

  • awesome finish back when bristol was bristol and before the boring cot car

  • @chevymadman5 very true

  • Not a empty seat in the house. now you can walk up 5 mins before the race and still get a good seat, freakin shame!!

  • the France family screwed Nascar

  • @abcsales ,,,there was not as many seats in1995 ,,,i think about 100,000 more seats were added in 96'.

  • notice how some the bad drivers of today were very good back then

  • factor infinito great band!

  • i love it and terry gets out smiling, now only if mark martin can do what terry did 2 great drivers winning a championship with the same number sponsor and owner

  • To Bad Terry could'nt have repeated this in 99

  • Man NASCAR just seems to have lost somthing it still had not that long ago.

  • Lets see, dale earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, Dale Jarret, Steve Park, Terry Labonte, Bobby Labantes winning ways, and we gained guys like Kyle Busch

  • Steve Park was a badass driver before his crashes, what did he have like 5

  • yeah it seemed like he had four or five "career ending" crashes, wasn't he out for 3 seperate seasons for different accidents, and one was because the steering wheel came off?

  • To me Steve park is the toughest guy Ive ever seen because he still has the guts to climb in a racecar even after those crashes. Some I think where close to life ending

  • The crashes took away his skill, could have easily been a top 5 driver or top 10 at least if not for injury. He's racing in the East Series.

  • To RedRum868 i agree 100 % nascar lost something i miss these cars meanin the t birds those paint sceams idk lol

  • @ReDRuM868 its the cars...the change in cars really hurt the sport the cot should have never happen..its bad for racing..it is safer..but with the soft walls..they shouldnt have worried about the drivers dying

  • A cult Nascar finish!

  • anyone have the aftermath of this race in the garage? in case you all forgot, this is the night of the infamous water bottle toss from Rusty to Dale's head after the race.

  • dose anyone have the full version of this race i could buy?

  • the dogfight at bristol, man..if only racin' was the way it was 10 years ago, not with this COT crap.

  • @randomtoaster2 they changed the track too with its progressive banking shit i missed the old bristol

  • the new bristol sucks the old bristol is 10 times better

  • This was such a classic

  • They ruined Bristol

  • you're exactly right, they did ruin it. Two and three wide racing, all it is now is a mini-Dover.... booooo! Nascar, booooo!

  • Yea if I want to see side by side Ill go to Texas or Atlanta. At Bristol I want to see crashes

  • "someone knocked the corn flakes outta this car" - lolwut

  • Damn good race and the audio preview is fun to play with.

  • what a race!

  • i miss the old bristol.

  • terry was a great racer

  • Haha, he didn't get him in Bristol this night... but he got Terry 4 years later in the same race. RIP Dale.

  • And Youre Still Jealous Of Him.

  • lol, yep... Every hater is jealous of him, even in death

  • @TBrock42 he did get him but he wishes he hasn't

  • comin of four earnhardt he had only one chance of winning and that was to ram him in the bumper wich he did

  • i just thank ppl for puttin up these old vids i nvr bother to read much of All u morons who dont really know what yall talkin bout just stfu watch the vid and go on to the next

  • I'm talking about the 2001 Daytona 500; his bumper was smashed from an incident on pit road with Ken Schrader. Prior to that, he had the fastest car on the racetrack. Moreover, Earnhardt had nowhere to go except right into Labonte off the last corner while being held up by lapped traffic. Obviously, no one is going to slow down on the final stretch of the last corner in contention of winning, you fucking moron.

  • you need to watch it with the name calling jackass...

if you dont believe he was blocking the other guys back to let Mikey and his Son go for it.. you weren't watching the same race i was!!

    We'll just agree to disagree!!

  • What a comeback for Earnhardt to finish 2nd..so close..Iceman Vs. The Intimidator

  • Are you fuckin stupid? He had a top-5 car the entire day, and probably would've won if his bumper wasn't smashed in and aerodynamically hindered. Get the fuck off of youtube you swag-bellied, dumb sack of shit.

  • Ha... How can you even compare Terry and Dale. Terry is the ultimate class act. Dale was the ultimate A-hole. And he did it TWICE. He did it AGAIN in 1999 at Bristol. Check it out.

  • yeah earnhardt was asshole of assholes

  • That has got to be the only time in NASCAR racing where the winner of the race went into victory lane with his radiator busted and steam pouring out of his car. Thats classic NASCAR racing right there!

  • Actually not really. David Pearson did the same in the 1976 Daytona 500.

  • Ahhh right. That was the one where Pearson and Petty both wrecked. I stand corrected, thanks for refreshing my memory.

  • Well I always try to help. Other than that, I dont think that there is any other race Ive seen that ended with the leader coming to victory lane with his radiator destroyed.

  • Thats ok. I agree there are not many races where the winner has significant damage.

  • What about the 1992 Winston...Davey Allison crashed right at the start finish line after winning.

  • HE HAD A BETTER CAR LOL

terry was a rocket that night

    then got screwd

  • FAIL. Terry was a very good sport about that. Earnhardt was just being Earnhardt.

  • Think of it this way: Dale got screwed out of the win: he had a better car and he just got blocked! imagine being him after the race 8(

  • yea enhardt being a dirrty racer

    putting terry in the wall

    uncalled 4

  • It;s just like the finish at Spencer Speedway with the NASCAR Modified Series!!!

  • "I was just trying to rattle his cage" Its things like that which make the races interesting and Dale Sr always did that. Sure he upset alot of people but he made the races interesting. Not like today where everything is so bland

  • In 99 Earnhardt spun Terry one lap sooner to steal the win. That, and countless other incidents like it, was the reason I never like Earnhardt.

  • i love texas terry what a shame that dale HAD TO WRECK TERRY

  • Earnhardt = dirty driver.

  • No, thats driving for the win.

  • does any body know what they are repaving bristol with, pvement or concrete?

  • concrete for sure

  • Concrete, just adding progressive banking on it like they have at Homestead and Las Vegas

  • oh crap thats honna be a hell of a race!

  • They did that. If you saw the most recent bristol race, the high line actually worked better than the bottom. If you would have told me that 2006 and before, I would have laughed. I say progessive banking ruined Bristol for me, because I liked the racing there. However, it did provide another groove.

  • Its a double-edged sword. Either open up lines, or make it a single line, bumper car race.

I actually like the new style of surface, nice seeing drivers being able to run 2 and sometimes 3 wide at Bristol with little consiquence

  • They are able to run 3 wide because the COT cars are so slow. They were running 18 second laps at the Night Race. To put that into perspective, the fastest street stocks run 16's on the half mile on Winchester Indiana's high banks.

Love the Progressive Banking Idea...Just not at Bristol.

  • Agreed. I love the idea of progressive banking idea, but do it to tracks like California or Michigan where its a speedway. Let the short tracks be left to be notible for the frammin' and bammin' racing. I didn't 100% agree with the racing at the bristol fall race.

  • I remember this race. I was 15 and was babysitting my younger brother and sister. They went to bed and our parents came home around 11:30 p.m. My parents were surprised I was still up and the the race was still on. Me and my dad sat and watched the rest of the race. This is one of the nascar race I remember a lot growing up. Great Race.

  • that was Sic

  • This was the race that made Terry Labonte my favorite driver

  • Correction: I was thinking of '99 when DE did win by wrecking Terry. This was still the best race ever.

  • Been searching for this forever. Greatest race ever, even though I like Terry more than DE.

  • Me too and no doubt... one of the best ever!!!

  • Man Labonte has always been my favorite driver and now that he's gone I'll stick with that 5 car through thick and thin little E will be driving it kinda ironic

  • I was at this race, 14th row front straightaway. AMAZING RACE! We were on our feet over half the race. It was pretty cool being given a "Goodbye and Good morning" from BP. Thanks for the clip, brought back some good memories.

  • That was an amazing finish, How long did this race go till?

  • I think it was sometime around 2 AM (local time) that the race actually finished, after the rain delays and such.
