As long as there are legal abortions men should not be forced to pay child support. If a woman has the right to decide if she wasn't to be a parent or not, men should also have that choice. After all, Feminism is about equality, right?

On the other hand, there are many who grow up with access to all sorts of opportunities, with wealth and with home stability but still "lose their way" somewhen in life. Just because a baby might grow up in a not so wealthy, not so stable home and he might "turn bad" because of it is no excuse for aborting him.

Can I just say to women, if you are too stupid or too ignorant too realize how dumb of a decision you are going to have by having consensual sex with a person who cannot take of the kids you may or may not have, you deserve everything you get! You can wimp out and have an anonymous abortion, which is such a croc. If this "Right" is such a powerful and necessary thing, why does it have to be anonymous? Why can't your name be on it? Men are not afforded this luxury..

I think people often don't appreciating how difficult a process it is, having an abortion--the physical and emotional toll you're forced to bear. There seems to be this fear that women will start having abortions willy-nilly if we legalize the procedure, which is plain ridiculous. Why isn't anyone afraid of shitty parents raising children they never wanted in the first place?

@Sueezee1 The pro-abortion argument is one of convenience for the woman, at the expense of the death of the new life. In some cultures eg Romans, it was acceptable to abandon a new born baby up to a month old if it had a deformity, or it was an unwanted girl! That was their equivalent of abortion!
If a woman doesn't want a child, she has almost total control of her fertility through contraception. If she does get pregnant, she should suck it up for 9 months and have it adopted.
