There is so much here. A story within a story wrapped in a commercial. It's amazing and awe inspiring at the same time. Just today, I shot a model and we will be recreating this commercial with her. She is beautiful as well and I hope it turns out as good as this. The lighting wasn't as pronounced as this as I would have hoped, but we maybe can recreate that effect. Shot on the 7D with great DOF. I'm excited. I love this commercial.

I'm a Detroiter, weaned on car ads, and those complaining that everyone is fixating on the model or music must understand that Toby Keith slurring over slo-mo visuals of a vehicle churning up sand behind it on a dirt road isn't going to sell an Acura to any demographic. The target audience for this ad is hoped to be sophisticated. And sophisticates remember a product because of the art design of the spot. Btw, who here WON'T remember that this is an Acura ZDX ad? It's seared into my brain.

Haters please get out. The ZDX was made to compete the X series, FX, RX, and etc... The ZDX is actually a pretty well made car. I would get one, but crossovers aren't my type of vehicle. I don't own an Acura how ever, but this car is really well made if I do say so myself. Just today alone (2/11/10) I seen 5 ZDXs on the road; freshly bought. Also about 3 Honda Crosstours. People hate on these cars, but they do sell really fast. Just came out awhile ago, and people already loving it.

It's not only about a taste. It's about a point. A car must have a point. BMW sedans - are all great, M series - perfect, X3 - not so good, X5 - good SUV. X6 on the other hand - doesn't know what it is., and it's ugly.

ZDX - is a competitor to something, that is nor a car, nor SUV. And it looks odd, because it doesn't know what it is. AZTEK didn't know what it was, and it ended up being the ugliest car, and the biggest failure in auto history.
