I like Pixar, but Beauy and the Beast is traditionally animated and was the first movie I ever watched, so it's very special to me, and all I hear anyone talk about is how much they liked Toy Story 3 and Up better. A new favorite for a new generation is fine, but to make this film to be no big deal is crazy, Beauty and the Beast is the best!!!!!

I'm so mad!! I bought the DVD today, went to play it tonight it the picture is ruined on it! Not to mention you need a Blue-Ray just to view the special features which isn't fair. You know you buy any other DVD that's not realsed by the Disney company you can still watch special features.

@TRISAND Supposedly, it's just going to be Blu-ray and DVD. They're "planning" on putting it out in theaters again in the promised 3-D in 2011, to go with the 20 year release. I hope it goes through, myself.

This is going to be very awesome. Can't wait to finally have this in high-definition. It truly did deserve that Best Picture nomination. Though it keeps getting harder and harder to wait for these releases, Disney is really building up the anticipation.

I agree. It does look crumy. The new diamond editions so far look a bit crumy also, well the snow white did at least. I just hope the boxes improve. The crumy part is where it says diamond edition on the front cover of snowy. I just cant imagine it sayin that/ lookin that way on 13 upcoming titles. Maybe they shouldn't have fased out the platinum editions? idk

to date Pinocchio is the best cover to me, and it was platinum.

You know what? I really dont think disney knows when they will put this out. Why you ask? Because on my snow white insert, it has just 2010 beside fantasia and this movie. It doesn't say fall 2010 for this movie. It just says 2010 beside both of them. Could it be possible that we see batb released in the spring?

Yes, this will be coming to DVD. It's either going to be a 1-disc DVD that comes with the 2 disc Blu-Ray, or the Blu-Ray and DVD will get a separate release.
