I visited Laos in summer 07' and according to my cousin..those Hmongs in the mountains are the children/grandchildren of the Hmongs that fought the Viet Minh and Pathet Laos soldiers 30+ years ago. They are robbing, car-jacking any motorists and stealing everything. They also have hopes and dreams that Gen. Vang Pao will return to save them and take back the country.
