"Does the sun itself not have spots ? Louis XIV was a great king. It was he who raised France to the rank of a great power among the nations. Since Charlemagne*, is there a king of France we can compare to Louis XIV in every way ?"
NAPOLEON THE GREAT. (*Charlemagne ruled the Kingdom of the Franks from 768 to 814 AD)
It's a fascinating video. I really enjoyed the wonderful music on the background. It makes me peaceful and it's a very emotional composition. I play Cello myself, that is why I respect this music so much. Thanks for the beautiful video.Louis XIV should be a great example for everyone of us.thank you
I just love the custumes...these people were not afraid of color...lots and lots of vibrant colors...our fashions seem so dull by comparison today. I mean how many Navy, Grey, and Charcoal or Dark Brown Suits and Jackets do you see out there these days? So Boring!
@Fuliginosus It`s the prelude of the Armide`s air "Enfin, il est en ma puissance" from Lully`s Armide. She appears by magic while Renaud sleeps, that`s why you can hear the wind machine.
I love this!!!! but... only a correction... this is not the prélude of Armide "tragedie mise en musique", it's the prélude of the aria "Enfin il est en ma puissance" from the opera "Armide" by Jean Baptiste Lully ;) LONG LIFE TO THE KING SUN!!! PHAETON!! APOLLO MADE MAN!!

Ludwig war ein scrupelloser Machtmensch. Aber ich mag seine Zeit.
