It's not "his" song - it's a Randy Newman song, also recorded later by Three Dog Night. This version is great, I like the 3 Dog version too. You can like both, y'know...

Some people just comment negatively on just about everything because they have miserable lives and want to bring others down with them. ignore those people. they aren't worth your time.

i did not know the animals did the original..incredible. this band is truly amazing when you consider such diversity in their music. Even Grand Funk railroad used one of their songs!

There was a version of this on an album

called either "Eric Burdon & The Animals"

or "The Animals featuring Eric Burdon".

I can't remember which. It had a white

cover with an Illustration of Eric on the

front, no photo, on the MGM label. The

album included a really good version

of "I Think It's Going To Rain Today".
