  • What kinda of exhaust do you have?

  • what size rims are those?

  • @black91240sx 17 x 8 (front), 17 x 9 (rear). They were sold two years ago...currently running CCW Classics in 18 x 9 (front) and 18 x 10 (rear).

  • HAHA! Love the plate.

  • Sweet! I'm doing a lq4 swap and planing on getting this cam FTW! Probably spray a 150 shot too, but I really like the saying "there's no replacement for displacement"!!!!!

  • Damn nice, man. But is there a benefit to running one big ass pipe instead of dual exhaust. As far as sound goes, I've found these LS1 and LS6 swaps sound sexier with dual exhaust. Not sure exactly what mufflers were used

  • @DylanK811

The exhaust was designed for my car so it mounted in the stock location, exited in the proper spot on the bumper and it's the best quality exhaust I've ever seen (full stainless). Also keeps somewhat of a sleeper look. If you look at my other videos you can hear the sound of it when it's actually moving. I did this because I suspected it would sound better than most other LS1s I had heard. Loud does not equal sexy and neither do straight pipes so I did something different.

  • @streetelite240 alright thanks for explaining! great work on the 240, also I didn't mean loud with the dual exhaust. just a deep rumble is what I like with v8's

  • @DylanK811

I know what you mean...it really does sound better than that...that's a little crappy point & shoot so it couldn't capture the bass very well. I will get a newer video up sometime soon of the new cam and same exhaust using a hi-def camcorder. The problem with a lot of duals is they sound great at idle, but really raspy and nasty under load...mine does the opposite...quiet at idle and very clean and mean under load.

  • Take that fart can off and get a true dual exhaust it sounds and looks a hell of alot better.

  • @jaym7918

I agree, look up a sound video for a GTO with a MS3 cam.... sounds a hell of a lot better with duals!!! Ive got Corsa Sport mufflers on my GTO and its the nicest sounding exhuast!

  • i have the same front end conversion lol and no grilll haha

  • There is a grille there....the dark gray JDM one. :)

  • Badass!

  • What are using for a rear end in this thing? I wouldn't think the stock rear end could handle an ls1.

  • Handle it better than the 10 bolt. I have yet to hear of one letting go with an LS1 swap. Axles break, but not the diff. Mine never did, however.

  • how come it has 1997-98 headlights but the rear is 1996 and below?

  • Because I like the Kouki front more.

  • nice car man. why dnt everyone jst shut up about saying ur little engine with a turbo is better than v8 its this guys car he made it the way he likes it so just keep it all to your self if you have something bad to say about

  • damn niiice 240sx.........LS1 my favorite V8 sounds like you have a wicked cam on there too

  • Not too sure about the muffler on the LS1. Kinda ruins it if you ask me. . .

  • Nodoby did.

  • hey just currious whats the lsa on that cam?

  • 113

  • what size rear are are you running?

  • 3.92 R&P from a J30 (changing to a Q45 3.53 at some point)

275/40/17 Nitto NT555R (at the time)

  • so how much did it all cost for the swap?

    tranny engine electrical etc..?

  • Hahahaha...you fags have 2 valves per cylinder!

  • and just as much flow if not better than whatever you have for the same price!... take it in.. think about it... then go fall down somewhere

  • Power isn't in the number of valves you fool, power is in displacement. Go to school and learn something before you run your mouth!!!!

  • ACTUALLY we have this thing called BOOST, So go ahead and waste your money and time.......my 6cyl engine has beat everything from V8's to V12's.......displacement has been replaced......Im sorry to be the one to break this to you, but its time to move on

  • You realize you can boost large engines too right?

The most powerful cars have the largest displacement for a reason.

  • Ok.......could you explain why the average displacement for car's on the road has dramatically decreased over time, while the average HP has increased???????

  • Better yet.....since your obviously ignorant to how an engine make's it's HP let me educate you........When you increase an engine's displacement you INCREASE THE AIR AND FUEL in the cylinder.........OR you could turbocharge or supercharge the engine, thus INCREASING AIR AND FUEL......The definition of "replace" is to substitute, put in the place of another, or to yield EQUIVALENT RESULT'S......So technically speaking there is a replacement for displacement

  • Hahaha "obviously ignorant"

I like how you immediately attack me as if I don't know what I'm talking about, when all i'm saying is that I'd rather have a turbocharged 5.7L than a turbocharged 3.2L.

Don't be so defensive all the time, you'll pop an aneurysm. It's just the internet.

  • I'm just sick of the old hill billie quote

    "no replacement for displacement"

I love V8's and the LS1 is my favorite engine, But I'm not going to let ignorance cloud my opinion, I like haveing an open mind willing to grow and evolve with technology. Instead of being a narrow minded neanderthal, who can't accept the fact's.

  • Where at in Kentucky are you? Nice car, great swap!!

  • Bowling Green area.

  • Nice! What kind of wheels??? Looks good

  • SSR Professor SP1 in Super Black Coat...but I just sold them.

  • Nice!

  • what lsa is that? 113?

  • Yes sir.

  • awesome... i just picked an ms3 on a 113 lsa for my trans am... most people are running the 112 lsa but i wanted a slightly smoother idle and you will pull a little more vacuum with a 113 also... i was wondering what it would sound like but it's funny the only vid i found of it was in a 240 lol

  • Hahahahaha I love the plates.

Great sound, what are your #'s or haven't you gotten a tune yet?

  • I've tuned it on the street so far. Numbers will hopefully come this weekend. Going back to the same Dyno that I put down base numbers on. Won't be anything crazy as it's a Dyno Dynamics (which reads lower than a Dynojet), but is much better for tuning purposes.

  • Awesome. I'm a bit curious to see what you get out of the ms3. What's your s/n on ls1tech? I'm tCTech. I've got a few more questions if you don't mind my asking them, or if you've got a thread, I'd love to read it.

  • hahaha ohhh shit nice plates!!

  • Props for the Honk 3x license plate :)

  • nice sounds sick !!!!!
