  • Lufia 2 uses nostalgia. It's super effective.

  • 8:11 almost made me cry again. i so miss this game and that song was so epic to what it was.

  • Whats The Name Of The First Song Pls ;D

  • I can't believe they left out the port town music. That is my favourite of the whole game

  • I never played this one, since I was caught up in Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger. The music sounds great

  • @mistaphill It was epic, right up there with those you mentioned, final fantasy 4 and breath of fire 2, and I'd add in illusion of gaia too if you go for action rpgs, truly snes was the golden age. Lufia 1 was good too, good story and music.

  • i sure hope this game gets a re-release on the wii virtual console sooner or later i red on wikipedia that the first lufia game will come out in spring of this year in japan so perhaps there still hope that not only lufia II may be re-released on the wii virtual console on the usa and eroupe but also the first lufia game as well just keep your fingers cross if it happens

  • the tune from 7:05 is epic man

  • 3:30 Terminator Theme! XD

  • One of the best rpgs of all time

  • The Best Song is "For the Savior" at the end

  • Epic win!!! lufia rlz!

  • i stil got this game at my moms place,it's almost completly worn out do due the hours of game on it :(

  • very nostalgic

    thx for the upload

  • Man, this is my fav RPG of all time >_>

The SNES is the SHIT. Screw these HD consoles, they ain't got what the SNES had.

  • @Aussie27Legend too true, companies these days have to put SO much money into graphics, physics, coding, music, voice work, etc. they just don't focus as much on story and gameplay- which is kinda the most important thing. unfortunate, but now people won't buy games without the fluff. :(

  • @ShionKreth Music and voice acting are extremely important as well. Think about FFT, a game with average graphics at best, extremely simple gameplay but acclaimed plot and soundtrack. Final Fantasy Tactics is a classic.

An example of formidable voice acting is Metal Gear Solid. My point is, story won't make an instant classic.

  • @TheKaiserTheKaiser

Both of the games you cite are less impressive due to factors like voice acting and music and more about the true element of what makes a good story, what it is... characters. MGS and FFT both had dynamic characters with power dialogue to accentuate their personalities. If a game is lacking in "classic" status, you could almost always fault it for either mediocre characters, or more likely, the game not being able to properly do the characters true justice.

  • Nice speed run.

  • Does it seem Lufia II has the best graphics in the series?

  • Why the hell did you spend a minute on what's probably the worst track in the game?

  • you didn't include the Sinistrial battle theme???? for shame! that's pretty much the best track of the game!

  • This game looks like hotness. I regret that I never got a chance to play this.

  • i just booted this game on my psp emulator and i didnt know anything about it but i know games and i was going through the new roms and i was bored with super marion, ninja tuteles and many great titles that didnt do it for me until i stumbled on this game and i felt it was difrent and it got me adicted. cant believ i will be playing a snes game for some time now

  • I hated the Ending. I was sad for days after finishing it. :X

Maybe it's just me but somehow the storytelling of old SNES Games was more "touching" than any new fully synchronized Game I ever played.

This is clearly under the Top 5 of my "Best Games ever played" List. Which mostly consists of SNES Games. :>

But I can't put them into order. ;)

  • yes i agree with you there green, although the only other game that i thought had such a grasping storyline like this was final fantasy 10 but it was no where near as special as this game. ive played this game soo many times through and there is still a few puzzles i cannot do :(

  • @GreenBerret

    yea me to .. :)

  • Imo THE most underrated RPG game of all time.

  • I never played this on my SNES. Looks fairly similar to Zelda. Nice music to boot.

  • The best way to sum this masterpiece is "Beauty in Simplicity". Such a simple game but a wondrous experience

  • yep this one of gaming's biggest unsung heros among RPGs and just in general.. most people talk about CT,EB, FF6 for the best RPGs for SNES but Lufia II quiet possibly beats them all.. obviously its a matter of opinion but I'd say this game ranks up with the best of them

  • I wish they'd release it on VC. I've always wanted to play it, but I don't want to play the ROM. I might have to though if they don't hurry up.

  • in my opinion it is the best RPG game and one of my favrite game of all time its my secend game i ever got and my first RPG and still today i play it on my SNES but now i got a psp and put a emulator onit to play this

  • the battle theme is epic

  • Great, but sadly underrated.

  • This entire game is epic!!

  • Fortress of Doom music = epic

  • one of the most underrated rpgs of all time

  • true

  • @cyberdemon666 Yeah this game didnt get enough props!

  • first track is relaxing ^^

  • This brings back memories, as when I was a kid, I used to rent this all the time. Story=Epic Gameplay=Epic Music=Epic.

    Overall=Epic

  • I still hold Lufia II as one best 5 RPGs I ever beaten

Tho Lufia 1 was as basic as you could get in RPG Lufia just Kidnapped Zelda and Bent Her down and ****ed all night giveing birth to Lufia II =D

Sadly Lufia II also still highly over looked game and hasnt goten well known-ness of older lost titles of today

  • its a great game and great music too

    tnx man for the upload
